This is just another reminder we still are the worst team In the league.

I’m not totally out on Mayo yet… but Covington sucks, and AVP is not doing it for me either. But, I think it would be hard to keep Mayo and be able to find very good coordinators next year. They’d most likely be afraid it would be a 1 year gig and then they’d get canned when Mayo got canned. So you may end up needing to clean house.

How many teams have changed both coordinators because the team stinks and it's actually worked?

It nearly always ends up with the head coach getting fired a year later and the whole thing being blown up again anyway.

Right, that’s why I think it’d be difficult to find new guys. They already had a hard time finding these guys they have now. Maye is a draw, but the job security concerns cancel that out. It would better to simply say publicly that Mayo wasn’t ready and you want an offensive coach, then go get a fully new staff.
