Maye "Designed Runs" NBC Boston Perry

I don't think we run block well enough yet for designed runs.

Scrambles avoid rushers and it's on the QB to protect himself as he moves up field.

Designed runs not blocked well will free up DL and LBers to tee off on him. I've seen RBs met in the backfield too often to want to do this to Maye yet.

And I'm not typically one to play scared. I never said the state of the OL was a reason not to play Maye. I'm not concerned about last week's concussion. This just seems a little reckless.

Maybe a naked boot or something like that but not rpo yet.
Actually run blocking was one of the strengths of the line.. lately it's been a issue. I have no problem with the way Drake makes plays running.. he got himself down the player hit him in the back of the head should have been flagged. I'm with you I'm not concerned at all. I like how Drake ad libs when the play breaks down.. that's how you break down defenses and make plays for your team.

I think Mahomes is a remarkable player, really fun to watch. I suspect one day we are going to have to defend the idea that Brady's GOAT status is unassailable. In the end, the great in any arena are so sui generis that they are incommensurate, of course, but no one will be prevented by this from arguing about it.
If you look at KCs offense it's almost a mirror image to our offenses with brady. They won thier last 2 super bowls with basically the brady patriots style of offense. 7, 8 yard passes. Running the ball, taking the deep shot when it's there. They have a ball control style of offense.

Sounds more to me like a gangster working out of Southie, when Southie was Southie.
Now your lucky to see anyone past the age of 35 living in southie.
