Amazing that when the Pats got "blown out" by the Jets earlier this year, the Jete only scored 24 and would've lost today.
Rodgers legs have gone the guy has hit the wall and their kicker can't make a FG, they should be selling off pieces for picks for the post Rodgers era it's over but their owner is too stupid to accept it.

They are bad bad.

I thought we looked good in man coverage. The run defense was decent, though clearly not as dominant as it usually is. I thought it was a well-called defense gameplan.

I'm starting to come around to AVP. I think he's a better playcaller, even if he's not innovative enough for my tastes, than I thought. Lowe is so much better than I ever gave him credit for. When he's in, the line looks so much better.

And I've said this for the last few years, but Henry is a great TE in this league. I know we were spoiled by Gronk, but Henry makes the catches we need him to.
I think it’s one game …..and majority of other games he hasn’t been very good and predictable. Let’s hope he can take the next step forward!

They ALWAYS want to come back. The point is that the responsible person in the room has to tell them no. For the longest time coaches were supposed to be that person but wouldn't do it. That's why the league took over the protocol.
Reminds me of the Game 7 Amazon series with Pedro and Grady.

Rodgers legs have gone
There were claims from last week that he was dealing with a hamstring. You can still see patches of the old Rodgers, but he was helped a lot today by his receivers making some very tough catches. He was also hurt by their whole operation being a **** show - burning all their timeouts in Q1 I don't think was on him.

Patriots really cleaned up their pre-snap penalties - played much more disciplined football today.

Are we watching the same clip? Absolutely blatant and clearly head to head contact.
I believe so; but we have a difference of opinion.

The clip is 4 seconds long. The slide starts somewhen after 2 secs. You really think the defender needs to be able to predict the future and pull up inside of 0,5 seconds???

He was coming in chest high at this point (snip 1) where slide just started.

Then at end (or at least this point; 2d photo) you see his helmet isn’t even touching Drake. I saw in video more pad to pad contact than helmet (facemask maybe) to helmet contact. It looks to me like that pad contact drove Drakes helmet head to hit turf.

I hate you putting me in position of defending a jester; but I just don’t like all this make defense always play on their heels that is todays nyJfl.

So in the above video did he say "I need to play better"?
I do not think he did ...

I know people want to say this game was more more about the Jets, but the Pats defense stepped up, Jacoby Brissett stepped up, AVP stepped up. They showed some pride today. If they can keep this going, win or lose games, then they have something to build upon next year.
The defense stepped up and gave up the go ahead TD to the Jets. They had their moments today, but Id say they were the weak link.

Happy to win. Polk's drop issues have spread to the entire team lol. I like Marcus Jones but today was rough for him.

Biggest thing was decent pass protection minus that embarrassing play where two guys couldn't hold back one guy on I believe was a 3 man rush early in the game.
He did have one of the plays of the day with his punt return

Jets upcoming schedule:

1. vs Houston Texans (thursday night game, so short week)
2. at Arizona Cardinals
3. vs Indianapolis Colts
4. Bye
5. vs Seattle Seahawks
6. at Miami Dolphins
7. at Jacksonville Jaguars
8. vs LA Rams
9. at Buffalo Bills
10. vs Miami Dolphins

Not an easy slate. Have a hard time seeing them do better than maybe 5-4 at best. I doubt 7-10 is good enough for a playoff seed... Probably need to go 7-2 at a minimum to get a playoff spot. If they lose this Thursday night against Houston then they're seriously toast.

Not gonna lie, I might be the problem

when I was watching, it was just a **** show

after I turned it off, we get going again

He's a giant skid mark stain on that roster ... more than once he was seen smirking as they were losing.
That being said ... what a sorry ass way to end a borderline HOF careeer
Why he wanted to go to the Jets is beyond me.

Josh Uche also did not play ... healthy scratch ...
Played 11 snaps last game.

Christian Elliss lead the team with 9 tackles and 1 sack.

It wasn't that bad.

1st half he had a pass breakup.
He gave a big crosser to Wilson, but typically on those you need help. You can't expect an outside CB to protect the boundary and then to cut across the entire field without any help.
Wilson just made a great catch and Marcus was right there.
The TD was indefensible and again a great catch as Marcus got a hand in.

2nd half he had 2 nice punt returns including the big one.
He broke up that big play to Wilson on the final series. Jets would've been within 10 yards of kicking a FG but Marcus got an arm in there and ripped the ball away from Wilson.

Wrong. It was helmet to helmet, this video doesn't capture it.
Ok Take your word for it. Didn’t see game & only clip so far (for me) was ambiguous.

Looks pretty easy to me for a team that’s an actual SB contender. Only the Texans (on a short week) and Buffalo are hard, the rest are very winnable for a SB contender. Are the Jets that though?
