The one at the end where they thought Randy was pushing off.
I saw replays and I swear I never saw Randy touch the defender.
Sure he extends his arm from the defender but he is not touching him.
Announcers keep referring to it as borderline.

No. For some reason, whenever Randy Moss breaths, he interferes with the air allocated for the defender, which is essentially a push-off.

Randy like to put his hand (gently, believe it or not) on the defender, so he knows where the defender is while he finds the ball - you see basketball players do this all the time.

However, Randy gets called for Off PI on this all the time, even though everyone does it. Like someone else said, he's the Shaq of football. (OK, enough with the basketball allegories, I can't stand basketball).

Thats actually a very good comparison...I've seen dbs flop in the endzone trying to get the OPI call on him. Then you have McCallister who just blantantly hugged him to prevent the TD the same way Shaq would just get held so he wouldnt dunk it.

There was a catch in the Chargers game where Gates literally shoved the defender violently with both hands to make room for the catch...and the announcers laughed and said "the good ones can do that.."

I don't know if Moss would have caught it had Rhodes not pushed Moss, which was the PI anyway. I also think the ball hit the ground and had there not been pass interference, I think the Jets would have challenged.

Simms kept calling for the Jets to challenge, like it would have made a difference. Then again, Simms also looked at a replay of a defender cornering Moss in the endzone with both of his hands on Moss's shoulders, keeping him from going anywhere, and called it "great coverage."

Simms was awful yesterday.

Conspiracy is the word. Conversely, in the Colts - Raiders game, there were back to back PI infractions committed on Jerry Porter not called on the last Raiders drive which could have tied the game. Even the announcers said that on the second one, the Raiders receiver's right arm was pinned to his side so blatantly he couldn't lift it at all. The cameras caught it real well too. They showed Raiders coach Lane Kiffin and he's so young and quiet or whatever he didn't even open his mouth. Give me a coach with fire any day, although Kiffin may be OK some day. If anything could kill the NFL, it's the PI calls. Got off topic here.

I agree...Simms was simply brutal. That was the worst he has ever been. Outright rooting for the Jets and getting every call wrong...

You know..the colts dbs do that...they did the same thing with Moss where his left arm was held down real blantantly but it was never called.
