Trade for Higgins or Adams Third Rounder
Trade for or poach the Detroit O line practice squad who Brady said is the best in the league.
Bring in Josh McDaniels in an offensive consultant role.

I think with these moves and the maturation of Drake we can sneak in playoffs 9 and 8 10 and 7.

If we do nothing fire Mayo and hire McDaniels or Ben Johnson as head coach next year.

Why is Wolf sleeping on that?? WTH!!

Adams doesn't fit the contention timeliness. Higgins does...but he's not a legit #1 WR imo.
Adams would expedite Maye's development he's a True #1 though older.

This is true.

Front office may want to keep picks though.

Another question is whether Adams would be willing to go to NE.

Who are you talking about on the Lions? The only offensive linemen on their practice squad are a young guy with no NFL snaps and a 28 year old with no NFL snaps in almost 3 years. Their swing tackle is (Super Bowl champion) Dan Skipper, and their other two backup tackles were both inactive.

We can pay Adams salary for two years and have Maye under a Rookie contract it's our move. Adams seems like a Guy who's about the $$$$ and we have it...it's a match made in...

No desire to make changes to "turn the season around", this team no matter what changes are made in season have a very low ceiling, one and done in the playoffs...is that what you want to look forward to? This team needs high end talent at alot of critical spots. Play the young guys, see who has potential, start patching the holes in the offseason where it takes money or picks, not both.

As we been posting about adams... LV will take a late 2nd or 3rd.. send them the 3rd pick we got for judon and a player perhaps..

The only pick off the Table should be our First Rounder but every other selection should be open season. I would take a proven player over a Draft pick eight out of ten times play the percentages.

Another few games of seeing maye daye would think that he would want to come here and play.. for example next week we have the Jets rematch.. if Drake lights it up and we beat them it could change the whole landscape of how FA view us.

With the exception of a cheap OT, no resources should be spent specifically trying to improve this years team. Any additions need to be part of the future if draft choices are involved.

I really think the season actually started yesterday. I know we are 1-5.. but if im being honest we had no qb to start the season. What I believe is.. we need to continue to build off yesterday offensively.. because Drake is the leader of this team and we go as far he takes it.

Say we win Sunday, then against the jets.. that could do much more for the overall good of the organization than loosing and looking like we have. Drake playing while trying to win some games is the best recipe for the rest of the season.

i just don’t see this season getting turned around with the holes on both lines and cb. Theres hope for next year though. Think we’re seeing why wise and maybe Jonathan jones too now haven’t seen extensions, they will most likely need replaced. Dt MIGHT be ok when barmore returns with barmore/godchaux/ekuale/and this roy kid looks like he might be a solid rotational guy, but we’ll find out more if barmore CAN return this year. Edge is a major need though, you need at least at least 2 more guys there.

OL you have multiple needs unless someone like wallace or jacobs can eventually lock it down at rt and you just need LT + some depth next year. I still think either way this offseason we’ll have to really attack cb and DL in FA as it looks to have some good options at the moment. Maybe LT if alaric jackson or cam robinson hit the market. I hope for at least 4-5 impact signings across OL/DL/CB and then you may be able to afford going bpa in the draft.

I wouldn’t make any big moves at wr right away, id definitely let this season play out and try to get more looks for polk/boutte/baker and go from there. If you have cash left over after addressing the above needs there will be some good wr’s available to sign. But as things stand, unless Boutte really flames out over the season, i think you roll with bourne/pop/polk/boutte /baker next year and look to make your wr splash in 26 when youve had a better chance to see which of these need to go.

The problem is I see the Pats getting a few wins once Maye settles in and gives false hope to keep Mayo.

Ben Johnson should be heavily pursued as HC.
Rain man.. I believe mayos here regardless.. he's got a long leash. I'm over trying to defend mayo.. he's got to go through this to become a good HC.. he's got a bottom roster, all new staff, and the 3rd overall pick playing.. let's root for success for our beloved team. You and i have always agreed on maye playing.
