What do you expect from Maye on Sunday?

Passing/rushing Yards, TD passes, int, sacks

I think he’ll be good for 180 yards passing, 30 rush, 1 TD, 1 int and 3 sacks. The stats won’t look like much of an improvement but I predict the eye test will.
I expect to see Maye running for his life. The stats don't really matter to me. I just don't want to see him take too many big hits. The game plan needs to be run focused to preserve our QB's life. Run a few play actions once defense has committed to stopping the run and then maybe we'll see if Maye can hit some of the receivers that Brissett did not.

In summary we need to run 2/3 of the time and pass the other 1/3. Keep Maye's uniform clean and maybe we can keep it close. I still expect Texans to win, I just want to get out of this game with minimal damage to Drake Maye.

I don't have any expectations so much as I have hopes. And those hopes are that he doesn't get injured (for the rest of the season), doesn't get mentally down on himself (which I doubt as he's wired differently in a good way than Jones was/is), and doesn't fall into any bad fundamental habits (at least not to the point where he doesn't realize it and corrects by the end of this season and for next season). If he can gain valuable experience that will serve him well for next season and beyond, while not getting injured, I'm content with whatever the Win/Loss outcomes are (as the OL and some other area's of talent need a significant upgrade).

19-30, 303 yards passing, 55 yards rushing, 1 sack, 1 pick, 3 TDs, one 75 yarder to BonyT, who finally has that breakout game.

Ok, I’m being a tad optimistic.

I'm going to say.. 230 passing, 18-24, 2TDs.. I just believe even as a rookie he's far batter as a passer than Brissett is as a veteran. I'm upping the ante.. if Brissett had what 170 passing last week? I think Drake could fare much better.

I’m not deluding myself. He is going to have a difficult time. Hopefully we don’t see a bunch of turnovers is my hope.
We've been watching a QB have a difficult time all season. Even as a rookie I'm expecting Drake to be much better.

Pass 240 yds
Rush. 40 yds
1 TD pass 1 INT
1 rush TD
4 sacks

A lot of zip on his passes to make us think that’s what that looks like, he’ll fit the ball into some tight windows. Also a lot of running.

His footwork will tell. That’s where he needed to improve. He no doubt has. But when the game is on the line, will he revert back to sloppiness?
My guess is he hasn't shown that in practice. He seemed to get better every week of training camp. So, take that and another "training" camp ie the 6 weeks since TC and my guess is he has doubled his ability.

It's not so much what I expect, as it is what I hope. What I hope: 1. He doesn't get inured. 2. He doesn't get his confidence shattered (which I doubt will happen as he's wired differently than Jones was/is). 3. Any bad habits that he develops are minimal and will be corrected (by himself as he's both aware of them and has the drive to improve). 4. He shows that despite an extreme lack of talent on the offense in-general and especially the OL, he shows a great deal of tangible skills that proves that with a seriously improved OL and additional talent on the offense next season, he can be "The Guy".

A guess?
220yds, 1 TD, 1 INT, 1 TD rushing.

I'll take that.
I'd love it if Baker was ready and done with what I feel is needing maturity.

Wouldn’t mind seeing the foundations of a strong connection between Maye and Polk/Douglas

I expect a welcome to the NFL moment, but I also expect to see some flashes of what his potential could be.

Over 200 yards, 30 yards rushing and two TD's in an upset vicotory.

Talent wise, the Patriots haven't drafted a QB like this since....Bledsoe? Not saying Maye will be anywhere as good as Brady. I'm just referring to natural talent like arm strength and velocity.
In terms of arm strength and velocity, Ryan Mallett is probably the best we've drafted since Bledsoe.

Like most top 5 Qbs do.

I expect over 250yds passing 80yds rushing happy days are here again RPO Drake.

Best be...

Me too. I expect over a hundred yards running. All of them for his life.
Coby had time many times, but didn't see people. His vision is weak.
Maybe Drake will be running for his life, I think he'll make plays while moving.
