It's interesting to read Jete fan reactions. The GM is good, the talent is good, "fix" the offense and we'll roll!. They seem to miss the idea that tt's easy to put together a talented roster when you're always drafting in the top half of the draft. The Jets haven't had a winning season since 2015! Five of those eight seasons they've had five wins or less so drafted in the top quarter of the draft. Then when you consider the Zach Wilson pick, it's hard to make a case that the GM is good.

Anyone can see their OL is weak. They had a huge swing and miss on Messy Bacon. It happens, but then they haven't done anything to deal with the fact that he was a bust. Therefore two big swings and misses, Juice Box Wilson and Messy Bacon, are really holding da Jete back, and it's all on their GM.

His response was to get Ahole Rodgers and put him behind that ****ty OL, and the outcome was easy to predict, Ahole getting blown up and then sitting on the IR for a year as he turned 40. This year he turns 41. Tick, tick, tick!

So it seems inevitable the team will "not meet expectations" this year, the GM will get fired, and the Jets will have to rebuild while eating Ahole's massive cap hit. Ahh, the life of a Jete fan! Good thing for rich kid Woody that he has other toys he can play with.

The Jete actually put significant resources into their OL this past offseason, including first-round pick Olumuyiwa Fashanu, offensive tackle from Penn State. In free agency they nabbed Pro Bowl tackle Tyron Smith and guard John Simpson. But it's safe to say that unit has underperformed.

I don't normally watch BSPN but it was on the boob tube at a bar in the North End and I remembered him from this thread.

There's something about him that makes him special. His "fist pump" really makes him look like a dork.

Most Jets fans I see look like they need to be on suicide watch.
