It's easy, and only takes a few moments. Are you talking about trading Maye in 2025?Dudes, would you rather finish 5-12 this season or get a haul for the number one draft pick in 2025 for Maye. It’s not an option for me.
Do what’s best for Maye, and that’s playing him, enough with the loser mentality and sucking for the 1st pick.Dudes, would you rather finish 5-12 this season or get a haul for the number one draft pick in 2025 for Maye. It’s not an option for me.
Sorry bad wording. I meant the Patriots get several high draft picks in 2025 for the number one pick. Use some or all of those assets on offense when Maye is starting. Are you talking about trading Maye in 2025?
Well…some would say it’s a loser mentality to be the Jets. IMO what’s best for Maye and the future of the Patriots is to ensure the Patriots acquire as many high draft picks next year as possible and sign high quality FA’s with the boatload of $ we have now and will have then.Do what’s best for Maye, and that’s playing him, enough with the loser mentality and sucking for the 1st pick.
I think he's good they know he's good.. I just don't know what the organization is really gaining by not playing him now. We have a good enough sample of what it looks like.. they can lie to the media all they Want but can fool the players a d can't fool the fans. Maye can get hurt in practice.. anywhere walking to his vehicle.. go figure stidham stuck around on this roster for so long and he was always hurt for a QB who never played.I'd rather watch Maye, but if he's good, I'd rather watch him for the next 10 years instead of 4 games and season-ending and perhaps career altering injury. My primary concern with playing Maye now is injury, and the secondary concern is developmental impact.

Agreed. But we need to use 2024 to get us in better position in March. Maye playing is vital for alot of reasons.Sorry bad wording. I meant the Patriots get several high draft picks in 2025 for the number one pick. Use some or all of those assets on offense when Maye is starting.
True, but I'd rather have draft capital..The number one draft pick in 2025.
Is there still a season ticket waiting list? When they win in 2025…people will come.Agreed. But we need to use 2024 to get us in better position in March. Maye playing is vital for alot of reasons.
1. Need to keep the fan base engaged as without the fans the organization doesn't profit no matter what other endeavors they have.
They are building through the draft the Green Gay way. Getting a haul for the #1 draft pick helps a great deal as long as they don’t draft bad players.2. Need to become an attractive destination for FAs if guys see maye playing as a rookie it will show them it's worth coming here. No one is coming here with an unknown rookie prospect. Maye playing is so crucial to how we get better overall in 2025.
That’s the pointTrue, but I'd rather have draft capital..
It was Atom Sheister. Can't trust him Atom makes up everything. lol
we sure this was this adam schefter? or adam schifter? or adam schiftir? or adem schefter? or adam schiefter? or adam scheftar? or adom schefter? or adim schefter?
True but you can't bank on that alone.. imagine if maye displays all that potential and play making abilities that they see each day in practice I think RKs season ticket holders would be sold out.Is there still a season ticket waiting list? When they will in 2025…people will come.

That's fine and all.. however the draft alone doesn’t make you a championship team . Teams that are constantly in the top 5 in the draft are perennial bad franchises.. see the bills for so many years.. and others..Is there still a season ticket waiting list? When they win in 2025…people will come.

I agree while everyone not names Leverett played well, Miami does not have the pass rush talent of Hunter or McDonald and Settle is a good backup DT.Im not sold on the O line after one game though. Its a roller coaster ride. Some weeks the defense we face will wreck us, the next week we may look competent. Consistency is key, and I dont have a lot of faith that our quality of line is good enough to support a rookie QB and keep him healthy long term.
Agree with that being said at 1-5 heading to London would you think we see maye?I agree while everyone not names Leverett played well, Miami does not have the pass rush talent of Hunter or McDonald and Settle is a good backup DT.
They won’t get those high quality FAs unless they show that their team is actually going to do something. Being the literal worst team in the league isn’t going to sell anyone to come to Foxborough MA. You’d have to WAY overpay.Well…some would say it’s a loser mentality to be the Jets. I agree but some of them just want the most $ . When you believe you have your QB of the future…surrounding him with as many high quality players as possible is the way to go instead of drafting one player IMO. Getting the QB killed from a lack of quality on the OL won’t impress many FA’s.They won’t get those high quality FAs unless they show that their team is actually going to do something. Finishing 5-12 or 6-11 after a 1-4 start and then switching to the kid shows free agents that you’ve got your **** together and you’re moving in the right direction, and you are still likely to have a top 10 pick. Sure, getting multiple 1sts would be nice and all but that’s still only a few total players. I would rather have the one guy they select with their top 10 pick and then use all their cash to plug other holes and take advantage of having a QB on a rookie deal right now, not in 3 years once that “haul” has finally been fully utilized but free agents still don’t want to come here.
This worries me because Boston fans and media are not known for patience. Lol. Maye will have growing pains and will make mistakes with turnovers, I would assume. I am ready for Maye and understand it might not be pretty, I just hope the rest of Pats nation is ready.I think the fans thinking we insert Maye and go on a winning streak are fooling themselves.
There's no evidence that playing him is what's best for him.Do what’s best for Maye, and that’s playing him, enough with the loser mentality and sucking for the 1st pick.
