They have to. It was the plan all along. The team this year is cooked, and Maye won't win them many game this year, I don't think. Then again if he does and he rips off some wins and the make the playoffs? ROFL what a story that would be.

Not playing maye at any point this year does them no good. You put on tape a horrible offense from a horrible QB.. you can throw all the $$$ at guys if they haven't seen Drake play there is no allure or attraction. Unless they want to visit patriots place.

Oh he is going to play, and IMO you can't take Brissett as the starter to England or Germany or wherever they are playing in a couple weeks. Can't do it. Plus I want a Maye/Williams game when the Bears come to town.

Highly agree!!! RK doesn't want another dismal QB over seas again. I truly hope it's this week.

Also since Cam Newton went off in Seattle for almost 400 yards, the Pats have passed for 300 yards or more in 4 out of the 56 games since then. Counting them... 1-2-3-4.

Maybe I'm in the minority but I think you'd probably want more production from your QB....

Edit: Missed one for Cam and Mac. That's 6 out of 56. That's a much better ratio then. Lol

Wow!! QB'S Are putting up 200 yards passing by half time.. it would take Brissett 2 games to total 200 yards ugh... yes... terrible!

Agree. Also the thing is if maye plays poorly it's ok becuase his upside is 10x more than what Brissett is. I'd rather watch maye have his struggles playing becuase he will only get better.

I'd rather watch Maye, but if he's good, I'd rather watch him for the next 10 years instead of 4 games and season-ending and perhaps career altering injury. My primary concern with playing Maye now is injury, and the secondary concern is developmental impact.
