I wanted Vrabel to replace BB when the time came. He had experience and his teams did pretty well even though the titans never had a genuine top ten qb. When mayo was hired i thought id givr him a chance to see what he could do. So far its not much, the team is decimated with injuries and doesn't have much talent in the first place, but i expected them to play tough disciplined football, thats not what i'm seeing. Just because a team is made up of jags doesn't mean it can't play smart, disciplined football. And i think thats a reflection on Mayo the coach.

Terrible decision on that last throw by Brissett but that is also an indictment on the head coach and his staff. Call me a Bill Bobo all you want but he would have gone over that scenario multiple times already in practice during the off-season, in training camp or during the regular season and the likelihood that Brissett would throw the one type of pass (well in bounds and not in the end zone) that was guaranteed to end the game.

So frustrating that Vrabel was/is available and we are stuck with someone who is not ready for the job. Going to be even more frustrating when he signs with another team in the off-season.
