Lazar: Patriots Lockerroom Teetering on a Mutiny

He is in the locker room reporting what he is seeing. Why would he lie?
You do know what the difference is between a report and an opinion, right?

4 year term.

Wolfe will be gone before Mayo and AVP out prior to Wolfe.
Personally I don't value coaching anywhere near as much as I do player evaluation and right now we have a roster full of average or below average players.

Maye's getting 30% of the 1st team snaps and didn't play in garbage time the last game... probably because of DAndrews' injury, but still...

Yes do you? He is reporting what he sees in the locker room.
Do you dispute that he has a better insight what is happening in the locker room than you do?
Other than that you don’t like it, what do you to dispute it?

While watching all the NFL pregame shows that predicted the patriots would easily win over the 49ers.
There were shows predicting that the Pats were going to go into SF and beat the 49ers?

I think it can be both: Lazar isn't conjuring this take out of thin air. I'm sure there are players (young wide receivers my guess) that really want Drake Maye in there. "Mutiny" is intentionally inflammatory language. If it was some other reporters, I'd say it was purely to drum up more engagement, but with Lazar I get the feeling he tries not to appear too "team-friendly" at times since he works for them, and went a bit too far.

Again though, doesn't mean the rumblings aren't there in some capacity.

Its not a matter of lying its more about his choice of words.
He is in the locker room reporting what he sees. What information do you have to dispute his reports?

Mayo needs to go already . He was never ready to be head coach.
They have the same record they’ve had the previous 3 years.

Other than not liking what he said, what support do you have that it’s not valid. Your post is basically saying there could possibly be some shred of truth in what the guy inside the locker room is saying about the locker room. What contradicts it?

What does mutiny even mean in this context?

A report is where you're printing quotes from players or unnamed sources (I'm not a fan of this kind of report but it's better than nothing).
An opinion is where you're giving your opinion with no quotes or other verifiable data to back them up.

Here I'll give you an example. Player A and Player B are getting into a heated argument across the locker room from me. I run to social media and say that the locker room is in disarray and the players are at each other's throats. That's an opinion.

If I go and talk to Player A or B and they said they were just getting into it because the other guy owed him $100 and then I report that with a quote. That's a report.

They have the same record they’ve had the previous 3 years.
And changed coaches. Did you think teams fire a coach in order to get the same result?

It's only 4 ****ing games into the season. You snowflakes calling for Mayos firing have never had to deal with adversity in your Iife. Get a grip!

The fact that he retracted his statement.

I never contradicted it. I simply implied there could be some nuance to the situation. That really shouldn't be a controversial take.
