Unlike SF, the Pats have a chance with Miami.

The same media members (posters here for that matter) who were arguing in the offseason that Wolf was putting on a masterclass in team building by signing Okorafor, Jordan, Leverett, relying on Lowe and skipping over linemen until late in the draft... those people?

They're just happy the old guy is gone and can no longer undress them in pressers and snort at their silly questions. Mayo doesn't have that kind of cache and he's a nice guy. We all want to see him succeed.

The tough questions should be leveled at Wolf.

Right and how'd our team stats look when we played Rodgers? Stats are for loosers.
So is proper spelling?

Point is, the denver broncos were able to win despite starting a rookie QB who struggled mightily, not because they are starting their rookie QB

Ok I hear you. So the conflicting things are this. Washington, Denver Chicago all teams like is us a reset with rookie QBs.. Chicago i can understand becuase they have guys around Williams. I just believe they didn't expect Drake to be this ready this soon.. having a **** O line is allowing them to stick to the plan.
I really believe they were going to sit Maye, regardless of the OL situation. I think that they could give a **** what the the other teams in the league are doing. This is their plan. I don't think what Albert Breer or anyone else in the media reporting on how good Maye looks has any bearing on it. Maye sits.

I think the plan is to have him sit, regardless of the OL issues. Packers sat Love, before him Rodgers sat. Favre was on year 2 of his deal if you wanna go in the way back machine. I believe they could have the Dallas Cowboys line from the 90s or even the Raiders from the 70s and Maye would be sitting. I believe it's the plan.

It was clear that they planned to sit him for at least several months. I mean I think they were probably targeting after the bye at the earliest.

Bill not so subtly taking shots at Mayo's "plan".
Sounds like the "plan" is to sit Drake for a year. This is JB's show all the way to the Superbowl.

I look at the Jags in London, Tennessee or Cards as possible dates.

BTW nothing personal meant against JB in any of my posts. I'm sure he's a great team mate and top bloke. It's just depressing to think of an entire season watching him as our QB.

I don't see Jacksonville because it is an early game in London. That is like a Thursday night game where things can be wonky and a team can just play extra poorly. Not a good spot for a rookie QB to get his first start. If I was betting, I would say the Cards is the game. Post bye. Give them an extra week to get Maye prepared for his first start against a so-so team.

Bill is a NEP legend a NFL legend. That can never change. The roster eroded to the point where Ownership felt it needed a change.. this wasn't an overnight thing. However I'm at the point now of what's been different now than the last few seasons? May have just kept Bill.
Belichick needed to go.
That said, Mayo and Kraft worked with the media for 2 years to make it happen. It's all out there, just many people have completely memory-holed it, either intentionally or unintentionally. Tom E. Curran's 'scoops' weren't accidents.

I think the last minute expansion of the cap really changed the free agent market to a point where all you would be doing was overpaying for mediocre players, with the exception of a few high level players who probably weren’t interested in coming here, so I gave them a pass on staying away from it. I don’t think they will have that option after this season. Hopefully it will be a strong free agent market, and they will spend significantly to upgrade everywhere they need to.
Mediocre players would be a lot better than the dumpster-diving they did do, outside of Gibson.
But hey, they signed a ****load of players from a 4-13 team, and there's 50 million in cap space right now doing absolutely nothing.

All they have to do is Help on the LT and Start Maye competent Offense immediately.
There is no help on the LT.

Every single offensive line position has been playing like absolute garbage. INCLUDING Andrews before he got hurt. INCLUDING Sidy Sow yesterday. INCLUDING Mike Onwenu who got a huge deal in the offseason. It's all bad. Even if you do think Maye is the next Brady/Mahomes (he's not), it's not going to matter.

I'm not even mad at Mayo. He's going to take the heat, and it seems like he's trying to coach with both hands tied behind his back thanks to 'collaboration'. I hope he last longer than Wolf, but I'm not convinced that will be the case. Wolf should be fired *right now*.

Dude... who was the QB? Your right it was Jake plummer. Yes that's right he was the QB..
When a QB goes for a ride on the coat tails of the winning defense or running game, you can't say this QB beat that QB. Also its a stupid comment because the QBs never face each other.

********. I was making the case to take Daniel’s if he was there from the beginning of the process, and at no point did you ever weigh in favoring it. You wanted them to trade the pick, and now you are making **** up.
I liked Maye and JJ and only wanted either one of them. Maye if we stayed at 3 and JJ if we went to 11

LMAO **** him...Didn't want to talk about the game when they won but when they lose ha talks ****. How about some ownership of the ****ty roster you left them. Amazing coach but ****ty GM.

Edit: Matt and Joe are good coaches and will succeed whatever position they coach

I know, was just having some fun.. wasn't a serious post. Surprised it even got this much attention.

I apologize, I am just in a ****ty mood. I was alright until I heard Mayo say that JB is the starting QB. At this point I want all of em gone.

Edit: Its my ability to not over react that people love about me. LOL
