Is AVP tipping his hand on play calls?

I believe BRISKET begins to sweat profusely and twitch when deep pass play calls come in from the sideline.
Biscuit going Deep.

Let me tell you one thing he is tipping - not calling any ****ing play action.

Drove me nuts this past week.
Yep have the leading Rushing attack and not taking advantage of it.

My question is about timing. The defense would need to get into a two-high alignment way before they ever had a chance to see what stance a tackle is in or anything like that. I think this means it must be due to substitutions. Macdonald probably saw the Pats sub in Thornton from the sideline and said "the speed guy is coming in, it's a deep shot. Switch to two high" and sent in his own substitutions.

@Pape

They said the TEs were going to be featured vs Seattle, and they were. Clearly they felt that was the area to exploit vs Seattle, not the vert game. I'm not hand wringing yet on all this crap. I know a lot is made about the lack of production (again) by the WR's but especially vs Seattle. I think they were trying to control the clock and pound the ball. I don't think they want to get into a vert passing game vs most teams, even if they try to morph into a team that takes what the D gives.

The Hub's job is to stir up chit. Not even going to give them even the smallest of space in my brain.

I expect Sauce to shut down whoever he's on tonight, so now we're talking about half the field gone. We will see how it goes, but I don't expect a vert game tonight, either.
It looked like running for his life and making the safest possible throw. I suppose that qualifies as a plan?

I admit I've gotten a bit of Josh McDaniels-like predictable play calling the first two games from AVP. However, let's see what he can do with a hopefully much upgraded OL, quality RB depth, a possible #1 caliber WR, and Drake Maye having the aformentioned to work with in his 2nd Year (1st Year as a starter). AVP is trying to make Lemonaid out of Lemons at this point.

Got to listen to the hub this morning... Don't often get to listen, so something different from eei...

Touchers show made a point that was interesting... Something I haven't picked up on.. they said whenever the Pats were looking to pass deep, the Seahawks were in a two high safety formation... Like they knew what we were running...

Just a tendency of AVPs play calling? Certain personnel groupings? TT / KO out there signals pushing it deep (or deeper than normal)...Line formations or set ups? Are the tackles cheating off the line a bit?

Anyone pick up on this?
I think it became pretty obvious we weren't going challenge them deep. The strength of the hawks D is thier secondary. I just believe it's Brissett playing not to loose than to win. we are a top 5 rushing team.. that creates play action.. the passing game needs to get unlocked. Once that comes around than we can be more balanced and open up the playbook more.

Our tackles are just abysmal at this point why not call Caleb Jones up from the PS he can't be Any worse. Can't block, can't throw.

We run. We can't throw. We don't target our wrs.

So why 2 high? Just their scheme?

Who made the decision on Brissett? They knew what they wanted so I no sympathy for the play calling, etc. This is what they envisioned.

We do and we are an elite Run team top 5 wich is our identity and wich creates play action so the deep passes can be attempted. It's part of the offense However teams play 2 high to prevent the play action. To take teams out of that formation have to be able have a passing attack. Due to the tackles and the limits on the QB those deep passes have been hard to find.

We desperately need someone with Cat Like Quickness

What I believe is... mayo ,wolf and AVP all collectively knew line is a problem. They know Brissett the vet and will take the beating. So agreed to start him and have Drake as the back up... remember mayo saying what is good to start the season may not be what's good for the team weeks from now...
