I wanted them to pursue Wilkins so bad. I was having dreams about Judon-Wilkins-Barmore-White DL

You and me both. But when I saw what he signed for, I knew this Management group wasn't doing it. Not with Barmore needing an extension.

Also, with the cuts they made, it became clear they had no intention of signing older guys to long term deals.

As I understand it - Jordan took the place of Okorafor, and then the new DE (forget his name) took the place of Ximenes, but Bentley is still not on IR, so they’re technically still at 53 right?

It’ll be interesting to see if Wallace ends up looking decent at LT. If so, they may want to keep rolling with him. Get Sow back hopefully next week and see how things look. It’s not super likely, but I feel like there’s a chance the kid might be solid. He looked good in preseason.

Yeah I think people might be surprised at Wallace being a LT. He says he has no problem with it so...guess we will find out.

This kid played inside and outside. The thing that caught my was his arm length. I have not watched any of his games so I don't know if he can use his speed. That 10 yard split is ridiculous for a DL, so I hope he can use it because we need someone other than White to create pressure.

I apologize if this seem insensitive of me, but this feels like deja vu. We have a veteran QB and a young QB that I really want to see play and we are playing the Jets. I mean this feels familiar.

Every NFL top FA contract is outrageous. The Pats have to sign some outrageous contracts if they are going to sign top end FAs.

A new synthetic turf was laid down at the stadium prior to last season, but that didn't stop the criticism from players. MetLife Stadium turf will get a major overhaul prior to the 2026 World Cup with a natural grass surface, which is required for the tournament, being installed. Correct. Which is why I am perplexed. Didn't Mayo say it was a torn pec? That's not something you can slap a brace on and be ready to go as far as I know.. So why not IR him already?

You missed the part about Wilkins AGE. They signed all of 3 people who will be over 30 when their contracts end.. Henry. Peppers. Godchaux.
The Pats signed MARKET contracts for Barmore, Dugger, and Onwenu.

The Next BIG contracts will be WHITE and Gonzalez. Both of whom will likely have earned 30+M /yr. at the rate they're going. The one caveat will be that they get the 5th year for Gonzalez so they can stagger White, Gonzalez, Maye (pot.)

That's the hope and the player I will be watching closely.

I went to a couple JMU games last year and from what I recall he was pretty solid, seemed athletic and was usually around the ball.

Agreed. I like rham and gibby to control the ground game.. being a short week I can also see hasty getting some snaps too.
