How Disappointed Will You Be Starting 0-4 or 1-3?

Well not really. Back in the day when we was great… we looked at 12-4 as a staple pretty much every year. I’m going out on a limb and say our schedule back then was way harder due to the fact of seeding at the end of the year. We are starting from scratch. Let’s just enjoy the next few years and see how it all shakes out. But we are gonna suck lol
To be fair, the Pats were able to pump up their records at the expense of the Jets, Dolphins and Bills. The rest of the schedule games were as much about measuring and preparing for the playoffs than win for a good record. The 2024 team is in the opposite position as the weakest in the division with a 4 win schedule against the rest of the league.

You think the message forum posters are the only ones that are going to bring heat? The media is going to be absolutely ruthless if they go 0-4.
ROFL

Oh no, not the media.

One thing we have definitely learned over the past 24 years is that some people are going to talk **** no matter how they are doing. They haven’t even played 1 game post Belichick and there has already been a ton of **** talk, and it’s going to get worse before it gets better.

The bottom line is the defense looks decent. But the offense is a dumpster fire due to the horribly offensive offensive line.

It has been 30 years since I saw a new England roster filled with so many JAGS!

That is the record I expect, so can't say I will be disappointed. I am disappointed BB did not use his goodwill with the fans to take the team down the cellar for the two years after Tom left.

right, not since before Bledsoe and before Kraft

I am basically neutral on this years team. Any and all wins will be like a bonus.

It would have interesting to see, in a parallel universe what would have happened if Tom and Bill never came for twenty years to New England. Would any of the other three teams been more competitive?

I will be worried if we start 0-16

Well I’m predicting 0-8 so…

Not disappointed at all. In it for the rebuild and long haul. That said, we'll see what happens when the actual losses start to mount up

I have us going 0-6 a healthy Dolphins or Texan Team is too much for us.

I think that the Pats could go anywhere from 0-4 to 3-1.

I can see the Pats defense feasting on Joe Burrow during his 1st game back from major injury.
Seattle's Run game leaves a lot to be desired. Yes, they have Metcalf, Lockett and Smith-Njigba. They signed Pharaoh Brown, which will help the Run game some, but I think the Pats can force them to have to rely on the air game.
The Jets game could go either way..
The 49ers game is the only one that I think is all but inevitable to be an L unless something happens to one of Aiyuk or Samuel between now and then..

O-4. Maybe a victory over the Jets, with an ancient over the hill QB who hasn’t dominated since 2021. That would be the team’s SB.

When’s the last time the Jets had such a talent advantage over the Patriots? When the team was the Boston Patriots, probably.
