Speaking of the dev it sounds like lowe is trending towards suiting up Sunday while sow is most likely out. Lowe - leverett - andrews - onwenu - chuks would be my guess.

I haven’t been available much the past few days…has practice mostly been Lowe-Leverett-Andrews-Onwenu-Chucks? I was hoping Sow could play but if he’s not ready then Leverett or Robinson could play LG. Leverett has issues shaping but he’s ok at LG…I’d prefer Robinson however so he can get the experience. Chuks at RT might be ok as well. He’s better there than LT. I’d rather Wallace at RT.

I really hope they move Onwenu back in to RG.
Agree
And, I'd almost rather try Robinson at LG than Leverett.
Agree
And, it seems better to have Chuks just establish at RT, then try to switch back and forth so much.
He’s better at RT it seems but I hope Wallace starts
Let Jacobs be the backup LT - because it's more important to develop guys for a longer season, than merely patching by ruining technique for the short term plugs.
I also agree they should try Jacobs at LT. Play Robinson, Wallace and Jacobs now to get the experience before Maye takes snaps.

My prediction:

I haven’t seen the combinations since lowe got back, just saw what they were running out there last week when he was out. Similar to the lineup for the washington game which is a bit scary. Id almost rather just toss jacobs or wallace into LT and hope for the best while keeping andrews-onwenu-chuks in place on the right

I don’t see it mentioned but it probably was …Chase has been practicing. So we’re ****ed.

I am hoping Bengals just taking PATS too lightly. Burrow played 1 series week 1 against backups, Chase has a couple practices all year, Higgins now resting the nagging Hamstring issue he's now had for a 6th time in his career.
Interesting to see if they can just turn it on for opening day or whether it's going to take them some weeks to get back to normal.

Let's hope this can be our line-up.

I like it. I'd also be willing to live with Wallace at RT this year.

[Edit] Ha, just ready ahead and saw you said the same thing. Great minds think alike??

His decision making has gotten better in time, but the accuracy has never really gotten to a plus level. But, you're picking at the very back of the 3rd round to get him, and the scouting report was dead on - backup/spot-starter ceiling…

Dak Prescott was still available at that pick.

So we are weak at LT, I get it! Why not line up Caleb Jones outside the LT, ostensibly as a TE but actually as a second LT (eligible)? That’s a lot of beef on the left side! It should improve our running game to the left and for passing could double team the OLB/DT on the left side. If he could catch a few passes, all the better to keep the defense honest.

Jones is a PS project. He's probably not athletic enough for tackle eligible stuff but I'm sure we have someone else for it and we'll probably have to use it more than we should and its not good as that makes us more predictable and one less skill player.

This sort of thing is better used for short yardage and not really a solution to bad OL play overall.

The Bengals Front can bring some Heat they have their Judon in Trey Hendrickson and Sam Hubbard also 2023 First Rounder Myles Murphy should be factor. The Bengals LB's don't get a lot of Sacks but they can Tackle Pratt and Wilson Bengals D can make it real uncomfortable upfront for a QB good overall Team.

Oh boy the Bengals are not the kind of Team we want to play with Tackle Problems. This one could get Ugly very quickly I see why they are starting Brissett sacrificial lamb. We don't pass or run block well we feel like an expansion Team.

So you would rather play with the tackle problem when Maye is starting?

because he sucks?

because it there are better choices, one of other OT's or TE's

This is such a weird take to me.
Are we just going to keep Drake Maye in bubble wrap for 4 years and pick up his option?
It's not like this line is going to get any better at any point this season, there's no left tackle.
