I think people are going to be in for rude awakening I envisioned this Defense with Judon not without: anybody who thinks otherwise good luck. I don't see this Defense getting to the QB without Blitzing when you Blitz somebody is on a Island. How many times are we going to be successful at that?? Not holding my breath yes they will miss BB's game planning on Defense.

I agree with you my guy.. you know I always do. I just think we are being a bit premature.. we need to wait until a actual game is played. Becuase if it ends like you and @rainmaker believe then we won't win a game.. as long as it's not defensive game plan from the bills playoff game. Judon was great Sept to November.. Barmore was the bigger blow I can't lie. I'm not as optimistic as I was .. but I still think they have some Dawgs on D

Why would CIN play Chase if he is injured?

Nice comeback fell just short. Forgot how sloppy it was with missed Xp’s sacks, fumbles (the big one by Stevenson) and a pick 6. Mac Jones had a few nice throws and almost coughed up a ridiculous pick/fumble 6 of his own throwing left handed if you call that a throw.

Mixon Higgins and Irwin killed us in that first half I’m glad we won’t be seeing Mixon in this game.

Barmore is the big missing piece.

Their 23 Schedule wasn't a world beater schedule. They played the Jets twice without Rodgers also.

Agreed. The Joe mixon loss is huge for thier offense. Let's not forget Cincy average 11 ppg weeks 1-9. We may have loss judon and Barmore but the secondary can still cover.

PF2 I never get caught in the schedule. Like BB used to say you play each game as it comes. When we were winning every year I hear about the schedule.. Drake is our future we just need to tread water this season.

You never know who is going to be good, who is going to be bad. For all we know, the Jets will be worse this year.

I'm calling it....JB hangs a 50 burger on Cincy, and out D shuts them out also and this springs Maye from the bench for garbage time play. He is injured on the first play after getting stepped on by our center again and also had to chase down the errant snap with the 300LB slob standing on his ankle...Damn I'm bored.....and sober...Ah yea that's what it is...

Of course the Pats have a shot. Week 1 can be very weird. I wouldn't be surprised if the pats blew them out. Is it what I think is the most likely thing to happen? No. But during week 1 I really think everything is on the table.

Agree. That's what even going back to our winning years I never played to much into the schedule. You have to play the games as they come.

Cincy averaged 11 ppg for the majority of last season. Wasn't until Burrow and chase were healthy enough to play that they got better. The loss of mixon was huge for thier offense. They still have those 2 burners on the outside. To have a chance blitz Burrow all game take away chase.

Are the bengals good against the run ?.....I will have to look at the stats somewhere. Regardless which QB is in I am guessing that the run game will need to be effective. Must admit I am not too sure how good it will be based on what has happened so far during re-season.
