The OL has proven to be bad, fundamentally bad. The coaches need to do their jobs and start with teaching the fundamentals, something Scar was known for.
I agree with you, too many penalties. That makes me ask though are they going to enforce the head on the belt line of the center rule against everyone because they were not consistent in the Pats-skins game. I have watched alot of other preseason games and OTs lining up in the backfield seems to be a fairly normal practice.

Yeah, I agree. But we're way past the walking stage.
That is the problem. The OL is crawling to the start of the season. The only sliver of hope is that all of the mixing and matching during the preseason did not allow the starters to become a cohesive unit.

They didn't mix and match as much as you would think. They tried a few LTs early in camp then they pretty much settled on Lowe, Sow, Andrews, Onwenwu, Okorofor for a few weeks in a row. This last week or so has been a mess following injuries to Lowe and Sow. And they gave Andrews the Vet day off in game 3.

The question now is has anything changed following the shake ups due to injury and/or will they even be healthy enough to stay with that 5. I suppose/hope maybe one of the claims can alter this too but that probably takes a little time.

I agree that some of the mixing and matching was out of necessity. Things started looking better before Lowe and Sow got hurt.
