Wilson looked really good. He has a great arm.
I think he will flourish in Denver

If Stidham is released, Pats should pick him up.

Payton knows QBs.
He went from no QBs to 3 good ones.

Most people would get tired of being perceived as the south end of a northbound horse for constantly searching out silly assed observations to ***** about the Pats but not our boy Sam, no sir. He's a plugger, bless his heart

Zach Wilson and Stid aren’t what I’d call good QB’s. Nix has potential but that’s it for now.

As for getting Stid back- why?

I’m fairly certain Russ has reached that point in a career when these guys fall off a cliff and can only get worse but maybe the environment will help him out like you said. I still really want to know what it was that stiddy did to get on the backup job ending **** list we all think he was on. Was it a lack of confidence he had while playing? Did he come to practice late/do something like Ryan mallet and miss a plane?

he means zack wilson , aka zack milfson, formerly the jete qb

See Sam, you can be positive, you just need to find a different team to root for. Jags, Bronco’s, Jets, anywhere Mac Brady ends up, like say Calgary.

Good luck to your Roughriders this season.
lmao

Stiffman 4 attempts - 2 completions - 28 yards - 0 TD - 0 INT

Corky Mac was undefeated vs Wilson.

Payton makes a difference with QB's that buy into his system.

Jacoby and Maye are better than their 3 QBs and Milton and Zappe are better than their backups

This is a really weird thread. To suggest Wilson is better than anyone in the league is questionable. Stidham ? Oof.

IF (if) Brisset is unable to play, I would not subject Drake to the risks of playing behind this sick joke of an o-line. If Stidham is let go, I could see him as a possible stop-gap (among others, of course) to be snatched off the scrap heap. That would be the only way I'd be interested. I suppose they could put the Zapster out there, but imagine the caterwauling hereabouts if they did!

Time to lobby @Ian for the return of The Practice Squad?

My worst thoughts suddenly look like strawberries and rainbows whenever I come across a Sam thread

Had to move this because you're basically saying Zac Wilson is better than Maye and that's a debate for next offseason, if Maye plays like Wilson did in New York. If that ends up being the case, I think we're all in trouble.
