Game Day Thread OFFICIAL Preseason Game 2: NE vs PHI

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Mayes body language in the huddle and post plays is weird, almost like he's feeling a bit too much nervous. Now seems like he's getting loose, I would give him the 3rd quarter as well or at least a couple more series.

I agree, he had some nerves early. Throwing high...looks good though.

A lot of safe plays mixed in with a few high-level attempts. Good idea to get him comfortable and then, slowly, open up the playbook. This is a marathon, not a sprint. I like it.

Maye has also had some somewhat off targe throws. he still has work to do,

Mayo said he’s gonna do 2 quarters. His first snap came on the first play of the second quarter so he should hopefully play the full 3rd quarter also.

How did the QB survive that scrum lol

Pickett’s hands were so small he was able to elude the sack

Yep.. Mayo wants to see if Maye can do halftime adjustments.

If Brissett is going to play like this he's not going to last beyond the first month of the season, this is unplayable quarterbacking with the 3rd overall pick on the bench.

Fans have had their fill of unwatchable offense the only reason for Brissett is to make the offense competent and watchable until Maye is ready and if it's not that at a minimum what's the point.
