There's a good chance he gets moved, but I'm not sure this report really means anything. He had a very public display during a practice where it was clear there was tension between him and the organization. Teams would be silly not to make the call and gauge the temperature in the room.

there is no reason to sell when the players value is at an all time low
Judon has little time to lose, so if he sits half the season, comes back and does not play to his prior level, or injures again, his free agency year he is looking at a non guaranteed contract.
the NFL trade deadline is week 9. if Judon comes back weeks 1-4 and plays well for a few games, and re confirms his value, he will have teams interested at the deadline.
if the team tried to sign him, and could not reach a deal, it is prudent to wait it out, unless a team offers pre injury value for Judon

I don’t think Judon will be in NE by the time the team turns things around. Can’t imagine what ‘botching’ would look like in your opinion.

I’d be cool if they move on from him if the compensation is fair. He could really help a contender.

Botching to me is at the end of the day suffering poor PR with the fans, souring a relationship with a good player and having that good player walk while receiving squat in compensation. I agree with you that he won’t be here when they turn things around. I’d be okay with trading him for a solid return. It would be right for him and the team.

Saw on Facebook that Patsfan recently ran into Judon around the back bay. Said that Judon was nothing but humble and that he expressed his desire to stay with the Pats.

I can't see where NE would get full value in a trade. I envision teams using Judons age and recent injury as a way to beat down his value.
