All things considered, it finished in interesting fashion. Let's discuss it here.

I liked what they did offensively. A lot of movement, far more creative than we've seen previously. Definitely feel like they're heading in a good direction and David Andrews sort of echoed that during his own in-game interview when he was referring to Alex Van Pelt.

Honestly if nothing else a little Joe Milton hype is a fun storyline. He did well, very calm and he didn’t look like an atrocity on the short passes like people made him out to be. Bye bye Zappe.

The overall operation looked solid. It is just a preseason game but it was important for the new regime to come out there and look competent, which they did. Overall a positive night.

Any lock on the OL apart from Andrew's and Owmenu?

I would say the key now is going to be how Mayo handles the discussions and questions and publicly stands behind Maye and avoids any controversy. They've got Milton under contract for four years...plenty of time to make a decision and they need to not create any uneeded issues.

Not a great game by Mafi. Raw but he needs to be better than he was tonight

As others have said - a good reason to limit snaps for Maye and Brissett is because those guys are gonna get a lot of snaps this upcoming week in the joint practices with the Eagles, and then probably in the game to follow. So saving them some wear and tear.

Not a bad showing, congratulations coach Mayo ! Defense looked well coached and dominated up front. Special teams was solid all around.

Harris runs hard. Boutte with some nice grabs. Quiet day from the rookie wr’s. Didn’t like what i saw from the starting OL, kinda worried there. Good blocking on the screens.

Milton looks promising. Brissett with a couple rough throws. Maye looked ok. Both rookies showed poise i thought. Hopefully wont see much more of zappe and juju

I will say Milton only finished 4-of-6 (66.7%) for 54yds, which includes that 38-yard touchdown. He put up some good tape, but that run where he ran around like 70 yards and gained 13, along with that out route that could have been a pick-six on a drier night, are two plays that could have gone differently.

But overall, nice start for the rookie, and at least most people will have a reason to be a little more excited to stick around all the way through as we watch these final two games.
