Mafi has likely now made the roster.

The question was always who was to be the odd man out among Leverett, Mafi, Andrews and Robinson. Now we know.

Leverett has experience at center too. I'm sure we'll see them both at the position on Thursday

Leverrett is ahead of Mafi, and they’ll surely keep Robinson. I’m not sure all 3 will stay on. Jordan is around also.

Who is the odd man out? I haven’t really been paying attention to the guard battle

Strange is watching very closely.

Mafi's shot gun is a **** gun. I can't see how he makes the team.

Yay, a second fan of Jordan (along with the cap).
IMO, Leverett and Robinson aren't enough as backups.
I'd be OK with having/acquiring backup center instead of Mafi. Perhaps, I am too fast in congratulating Mafi. Perhaps Jordan as a C/OG is a better idea.

I prefer having a backup center, a backup OG AND a veteran JAG backup OG/C.
We had Jake, Robinson and Leverett. To be more blunt, if our starting center was injured and out for a few games, we should be OK with the backup who would now start and with the #3 canter who would become the backup.

I believe Turner is the guy that makes the team, not Mafi, not Jordan, along with Leverette and Robinson

I didn't see any indication last year that Mafi is a roster lock no matter who gets hurt. Borderline NFL guy at this point.

You really cannot go wrong with dudes that can play multiple interior line positions. Mafi looks like an absolute tank and me thinks he’s better suited as a G. Haven’t most of the errant snaps come from him? Not that I’m against him getting reps, quite the opposite really. Just seems like a huge stretch/project with him….considering he was a 400lb+ defensive lineman, this is going to take time. Gotta say props to him. Takes a lot to start out as a rugby player then move to football/defensive lineman then to OL only a few years ago tells me he’s definitely committed to the craft. Hopefully he can do it at the pro level.

I’d like to see the team bring in Kody Russey for a tryout at C. It can’t hurt.

**** that ****. Jordan’s multiple times better than that ****ing fat ****ing unathletic ****ing over-drafted ****ing stiff. Dude ****ing sucks bad yo.

Whichever one can play Center the best will make the roster.
OK, Leverett is the best center. Does that help you in determining whether Mafi will get the last roster spot over Jordan or someone not now on the roster or no one?

Jordan is a better center than Mafi. Is that the determinator?

Yes.

Nice of you to chime in. It's been awhile since you've made your usual snarky comment to whatever I post. I trust that you are well.
