Because you mentioned he doesn’t want to go to NE or Cleveland I mentioned he’ll go wherever will pay him.

I still think he plays in SF this year but who knows.
Both teams willing to pay him what he wants, but it’s rumored he doesn’t want to go there.

Yeah but players usually follow the money more than the team.

Yes, Reports are multiple and pretty definitive:

Browns offering Amari Cooper and picks
Pats offer Bourne and picks

49ers prefer Amari Cooper

Aiyuk wants to go to Pitt or Was

Aiyuk does not like the QB situation in Cle or the Patriots expected non-competitive level roster so refuses to sign an extension with either

I assume he eventually goes to Cleveland OR back to 49ers and then can go where he wants next year, if Pats sweeten offer maybe they have a chance to change that but seems unlikely. It's all on Aiyuk and what he decides at this point.

I'm off the Aiyuk Train love the progress of our Rookies IF Tyquan gets' it WR will be a Strength for us. Boutte is having a good camp too we have a lot of young WR's with Pop Douglas leading the charge.

Source I understand us but Cleveland: Deshaun Watson can be very good when healthy.

unless SF is overwhelmed with an offer, or Aiyuk refuses to play, SF has zero incentive to trade him.
SF looking to play in the SB, will not jeopardize that chance to pacify Aiyuk.
Aiyuk is under contract at $14m this year, and can be franchise tagged next year. ($25m tag number for WR's?)
SF would be foolish to not keep Aiyuk for 2/$40m unless they are overwhelmed with an offer

I think they will eventually part ways with the Drafting of Pearsall and Cowing Two WR's I really liked last Draft. Aiyuk still have youth going for him still in his prime.

Because any solid possession WR can step into Aiyuk’s favorable position and put up numbers and the 49ers above all know this.

Are we still talking about this guy, good grief… as transcendental an athlete as he is, why hasn’t he been paid or traded already?

The Chiefs traded Tyreek in two seconds, this guy can’t get a sniff so his agents have to put fake stories out in the media about interested teams offering the money he thinks he deserves.

If the collaboration station fall for this BS they’ve completely lost the plot.

Wozzy I don't share your hate for Aiyuk I have a WR eye and I think he's very good. Any Team that gets him is going to be very happy: that said it seems like Wolf hit the jackpot on Baker and Polk. Also If Tyquan and Boutte shows more we are all set @ WR for years to come. Good thing we changed Guards when we did because the previous guard didn't give a crap about WR's. Oh and some Team is going pay Aiyuk Big Bucks and I think he's worth it!

Any team that pays Aiyuk like a #1 is going to be like the Chargers after they paid JC Jackson like a #1… especially if their QB is merely average.

Well to his credit Aiyuk was Drafted in the First Round and still play like one: JC was Undrafted and worked his butt off...that ankle injury did him in. Teams will always Pay for Players Wozzy: look at what BB foolishly paid Jonnu Smith of his perceived potential. Yeah even the Great ones do it again some guys like Aiyuk are worth it.

Aiyuk isn’t coming here.
It would be interesting though.

I love the potential with the young WRs we have. Not a fan of giving up picks and cash for Aiyuk.

Tee Higgins is available next year without the need of sending any picks, if Baker and Polk look like busts this year

i would much rather trade a high pick for an OT.

I posted the article below from Andrew Brandt, an actual NFL GM for over two decades, where he discussed how the cap doesn't matter and that it is cash spending that matters. Wozzy disregarded a guy that has worked as an agent and an NFL personnel guy because he apparently knows how these things work better than Brandt lol.

Explaining how NFL salary cap works and debunking three myths - Sports Illustrated

This actually is not close to being true. Are you confusing him with Gil Brandt, the long-time Cowboys player personnel executive who died last year at the age of 91? Andrew Brandt was VP of the Pack for less than a decade and has been out of the NFL altogether since 2008.

Having clarified that, Andrew Brandt is a smart guy and at one point was Green Bay’s cap expert and main contract negotiator so he knows his stuff, assuming that he has stayed current with the new salary cap rules, which which seems likely.

The cap is crap in the sense that there are enough loopholes that a team can figure out ways to fit almost all of their top guys under the cap (although we have seen plenty of teams who have let young, talented players walk in free agency due to seller concerns) and with the cap limit rising significantly every year, teams can get away with a lot more than they used to be able to. There is usually collateral damage, however, to going all-in and signing all of your stars to big money contracts. It can have a dramatic effect on a team’s ability to play the second year players and role players, and in general can leave teams with very little depth.

We are seeing an example of the cap not being crap in Dallas. Yes, Jerry may not completely believe in Dak and is, therefore, hesitant to give him a record setting contract while using the cap as an excuse for not locking him up already, but cap restraints/concerns are also likely playing a role in their negotiations with him and CD.

From your fingers to God’s ears, but you should pump the brakes on Baker and Polk, Sparky, for now at least. The arrow seem to be pointing up for both of them and there has certainly been some promising signs up to this point, but they have barely practiced pads and haven’t taking a single full-contact NFL snap. You may remember that Thornton looked like the real deal to most observers for the first half of his rookie year training camp, until the injury.

All evidence to the contrary over the past two seasons.

HUH? Definitive? Based upon what evidence? Please don’t include that nobody who tweeted “SCOOP”.

Multiple reporters, pretty easy to find this and they agree. Add that to the definitive reporting form 49ers reporters and insiders that it's all up to Aiyuk now and it pretty much confirms what the other reporters have posted.
There are quite a few of these reports now and not a single one disputing them.
I suppose we could all just wait until the 49ers announce things because these things have never leaked, like ever, so yeah, let's ignore something that's dragged on for weeks, so no time at all for word to get out(sarcasm intended), and have all kinds of reports supporting it because no way it's real unless the teams involved officially announce it.

I feel the same way about them like I did A.J. Brown and George Pickens call it luck.
