Why no write up on tyquan ? Was he underwhelming?

Based on what I’ve read and seen so far, Reagor and Boutte are pushing for roster spots and might bump Osborn out, who has had a little bit of a dropsies issue. Juju hasn’t been impressive. Thornton looks OK but still below other guys and I am still hesitant to trust his health to hold up. Meanwhile Polk and Baker are both better than expected so far.

If I had to guess today I would say they keep Bourne, Douglas, Polk, Baker, Reagor and Boutte. Reagor will be viewed more as a KR but will probably see some WR snaps and step in if/when someone else gets hurt. There’s the chance Bourne starts on PUP but I am doubting that considering he’s already out there stretching and in his jersey. He will probably be practicing soon.

Marcus Jones will also be available as a gadget player on offense.

Javon Baker was playing with some swagger at camp today. He's definitely put the coaches on alert that he is gunning for one of the WR roster spots.

He didnt get both feet inbounds…
he did

Ahhhh. I didnt see the first frame. I saw the second, followed up by that big step and thought “wtf man.”

Have Wallace practice at LT the rest of the way. Have him eat/sleep/live being a LT every moment of every day and night. Doesn't matter if he doesn't win the starting job this season. Have him practice there all year and all of next offseason if you're serious about converting him. A half assed attempt ain't going to produce a legit starting LT in this league.

I would think it makes sense to start the season with Bourne on PUP.
I think Bourne will be off PUP and practicing this week.

Look at the photo on the left and tell me that looks like he’ll remain on PUP for the next couple of months.

I’ve rehabbed knees several times (one ACL, two total replacements). You’re not doing what he’s doing in that photo unless it’s completely healed. What’s left now is rebuilding confidence and instinctive coordination.

It’s a month and a half from first game, he’ll be ready before that.

EDIT TO ADD:

In March he said:
“This month, next month I’ll be running,” he said. “Right now, I’m just building up strength, building my quads back up, building the muscles around my knee, glutes, to all help my knee just get the stress off. Thank God, it wasn’t a non-contact injury, so it wasn’t my running mechanics, which is a blessing. It was a contact [injury]. So, it wasn’t anything I was doing wrong mechanically.

“Those steps that I’m taking are good. Everything is kind of back to normal in a sense. It’s just relearning how to break down. My biggest thing is I can run right now. I can run full speed. I can jump. It’s just the landing and the stopping that I’m really focusing on right now. These first four months were really good for me [...] I really attacked and I can tell that I am ahead of schedule. I would honestly say if I wasn’t, if it sucked. But it’s been very positive.”

Kendrick Bourne gives promising update on his recovery from a torn ACL

Isn't Bourne participating also?

I thought that certain kinds of participation is fine, especially non-contact workouts.

Maybe we have some WRs afterall?
I think Ju Ju is gone.

So I have Boune Pop, Polk, Baker, Reagor, Boutte.
If Bourne is on pup one of Thornton or Osboune sneaks on.
Osborn doesn't need to sneak onto the roster.

I think that we should expect Bourne to be on the 53 rather than on PUP.

Bourne and the 3 kids are locks. I see one opening for a WR who isn't a STer.

Reagor is making a place for himself as a STer, who can be an emergency WR.
=====================
Personally, I would like another seasoned veteran. I prefer Osborn. IMO, Boutte is our annual inexperienced binky WR that doesn't make the 53 and easily makes the Practice Squad.

One presumes that Wolf is continuing to look for trade partners willing to take Schuster and/or Thornton.

Definitely agree about Bourne. And Osborn.

WRs on roster:
Bourne
Douglas
Polk
Baker
Osborn
Reagor (ST/WR)

WRs on PS:
Boutte
Thornton

WR cut/traded
Juju

All other than Juju subject to revision based on injuries during camp. Any others in camp not listed above to PS or the curb.

WOW. Barmore makes the 3rd player (or is it 4th) player in 7 years that has blot clot issues?

Antonio Garcia back in 2017. Then Andrews in 2019 and now Barmore. And yes. I feel like I'm forgetting someone.

Rookie of the year I said it when we Drafted him. No way he should have fell to the Fourth Round Elite Player.

The WR's have been Very competitive can't wait to see if this translates in the pads especially with Reagor and Boutte.

If Polk and Baker keep doing what they’re doing, this will be Bourne, Schuster, and Osborne’s last training camp.
