He's not a possession receiver. He was almost 18 yds per catch average last year.

Shaq Mason played nearly ten years, won two Super Bowls, and was one of the best guards and run blockers in the AFC. He doesn’t suck because he didn’t get voted by fans onto the popularity team.

Neither did David Andrews, Hunter Henry or a bunch of other players. While the dynasty teams were winning multiple rings they were getting disrespected every year by voters. It’s a joke at this point…

The bottom line is the 49ers gave Aiyuk permission to speak with other teams around the draft. If any team was willing to give him Justin Jefferson type money there would be movement. Nobody wants to pay him that, even if they were willing to pay him close to that amount the 49ers would want a high draft pick.

He's not going anywhere. He has zero leverage because he's under contract and they have the 5th year option. Let the Aiyuk talk die... he's not going anywhere unless the 49ers cave and they won't.

Because Deebo, Kittle and CMC were serious threats that had to be accounted for by defenses. JC Jackson had more interceptions than Gilmore, Gilmore was the superior player that made that possible for Jackson. It's a team game.

Can you give me other examples of this, where the second best guy puts up 200+ more yards over each of two years and has a much higher snap percentage? Typically the guy who plays the most, has the highest snap percentage, puts up the best numbers is considered the best wr. I realize we all fell in love with Deebo’s toughness in 2022, but SF overworked him and cooked him that year. Aiyuk, a former first round pick, is just better now.


Diggs did well in MN with Thielan, then was a stud after him in Buf. Chase does better than Higgins. AJ Brown does better than Smith. Hill outperforms Waddle. All things being equal, the guy who plays better, is better
