49ers may cave now to his demands. 49ers may drag it out to see how the offense does in the event he holds out. If they do poorly, they will pay him like Emmitt Smith and most recently Chris Jones. If they are doing well, they may trade him which I think is a big mistake.

If the 49ers can get some sucker to give them a high draft pick for Aiyuk, they will plug rookie WR Ricky Pearsall in his spot and won't miss a beat.

Meanwhile the team that gave up that high draft pick and gave Aiyuk a top of the market deal will get good possession receiver numbers from him and have buyer's remorse. They gave up high draft capital, paid him like the best of the best, only to find out he's merely a good solid possession WR and nothing more... he's Juju at 26 years old... a solid #2.

the Pats were willing to give 31 yr old Ridley $20m+. Aiyuk is 26 yrs old
Polk aligns with Maye's timeline. So does Pop. Baker is a question mark. JuJu, Bourne, TT will not be here when Maye is ready to win.
spend some money on a WR that can grow with Maye. draft a stud OT in 2025 in rd 1. take a defensive stud in 2025 rd 2.

Javon Baker is probably better than Polk right now I have a keen eye for WR's George Pickens is his comp. Did anybody think 5th Rounder last year WR Puka Nacua would be as good?? Moral of post don't Sleep on Baker he fell through the cracks in a Very Deep Draft @ WR he should have been a Second Rounder ask Steve Smith.

The thing that impresses me about Aiyuk is his age he's already played Four years and is just 26. Wozzy the cheap game is over too much money to be made and the Cap keeps going up. Getting a player for cheap nowadays means hitting consistently in the Draft if not Pay up in FA. I think Wolf is going to do everything to Ensure Maye's success IF Maye sucks it won't be because of Wolf he won't make that BB mistake and ruin a Young QB by surrounding him with mediocrity.
