34 is his issue

He wants the team to have gotten lots more before they picked his choice of WR, That way they could move in the 3rd for one of the OT's available.

First, getting WOLF's choice of WR (presumably on the recommendation of the Offense staff) and getting enough to move up for BAKER seem fine to me.
==========
Yes, the team could have used the 2nd round pick on a LT, after moving down. They would then have had a different choice of WR's with their two picks.

I guess the real argument is whether Wolf misread the 2nd round run and was "forced" to pick Wallace who he wanted later. I suspect that he probably did misread the run. However, that does NOT mean that he wanted any of those players. He just felt that with OT's flying off the board, he needed to jump for Wallace.
==========
For me, it was all over with regard to LT in the first after the drafting of the first 8 OT's. Wolf couldn't get a reasonable enough deal to move up for Mims or Guyton. After that run, a rebuilding team chose to use more capital on WR and less on OL and wait for next year to try again in free agency or in the draft. This seems a reasonable approach since our choices of Polk and Baker seem reasonable.
=======
We seem to have a good start on the WR corps of the future with Douglas, Polk and Baker. Hopefully next year will mean acquiring our #1 WR.
