This guy has been bothering me for a while and I haven't been sure how to express it. This guy may be the whiniest ***** of an owner in sports. I know he's behind all of this nonsense.

For those unaware, this is the guy that is known to push the competition committee to implement more taunting penalties because he's "sick and tired of the taunting." He already has that mark against him.

But on top of that, he clearly has a pull in that owner's room. The Giants were possibly the most unwatchable team in football last year. No one wants to watch Daniel Jones/vs. Drew Lock. They really are no more watchable than us and just about as bad. And yet:

They have FOUR primetime games (including the Thanksgiving matchup vs. Dallas) compared to our one primetime matchup. Bad teams shouldn't have four primetime games.

They are getting featured on an offseason edition of hard knocks, despite being completely uninteresting. You know Mara forced Hard Knocks into that.

To top it all off:

The Giants just unveiled this nonsense. They are likely scrapping some of the best throwbacks in the league and subjecting everyone to this for this season. No one asked to be subjected to your grandpa's uniforms.

Rant over. Carry on

Didn’t help the Jets when they were terrible
The Jets are the Mets. They're the little brother for the Long Island and Staten Islanders. They have also been terrible for decades and still ended up with more prime time games than they ever should have.

the only good thing about the Mara Family

The Giants are a big draw, even when they suck. They are the marquee team in the biggest city in the country.

ThanksGrandpa! is the Greg Marmalard of the NFL

Quick: name a John Mara “signature accomplishment.”

We who support the “NFL riff raff” are expected to understand that the “pecking order” starts with the Giants, Steelers, and Packers with a wide separation in status and authority in comparison to others. We are supposed to admire and respect their “glorious history and traditions”

Being born.

Oh, you meant like when he stuck up for that wife abusing kicker, Josh Brown. Well, I'm sure he prayed and sought higher guidance...because it was "our" and "we" in the end. Selfless ghoul.

"Our beliefs, our judgments and our decisions were misguided. We accept that responsibility," Mara added. "We hope that Josh will continue to dedicate himself to rehabilitation and to becoming a better person and father. We will continue to support him in his efforts to continue counseling, and we hope that Josh and his family can find peace and a positive resolution."

Wellington Mara had a terrible, miserable record of meddling with the draft and I suspect that John is up to the same tricks.

The Giants did not begin to get better until they hired George Young as GM and kicked Wellington out of the draft room. Tim was co-owner then and was the one who forced them to hire Young and stop picking Well's lemons. After some great seasons, Tim sold his share and the Giants went back to meddling owners.

I sure hope that the Patriots have not fallen into the meddling owner treadmill, but I suspect they have.
