Unless he surprises, Week 15 after the bye seems like a good switchover point. Four games to get a feel for real NFL speed.

Odd home schedule. On Christmas there will have only been six home games played, all at 1:00 pm, the last two weeks of the season are home games and dates and times are TBD.

Only Carolina and New England with zero SNF/MNF games. Im fine with that.

No, we open with 3 games in 12 days. And while 1 extra day may not seem like a huge difference, I remember the Eagles once had to do what the Jets are doing and they said the extra day was a huge deal because the first game is a night game so it is almost like you lose 2 days. Not to mention that season opener for NY is in Santa Clara, CA.

I said it earlier: If we opened on a Monday on the west coast, had a short week road game the following Sunday, and another short week TNF game against the Jets, people on this forum would absolutely lose their minds.

The good: no night games at home the first six and probably not the last two. LOVE the 1 p.m. start time.

The bad: 13-straight games until the bye?! I've never seen a Patriots bye that late in the season. Also not thrilled about three December/January home games.
