System QB Tom Brady will be roasted live on Netflix

I turned it on for two minutes, shut it off after being annoyed with Kevin Hart. Now after seeing clips this morning, I wish I watched it. I will def be checking it out tonight.

So this was one moment of the night that felt broke through the “roast”.

After Jeff Ross made a massage Kraft joke, Brady marched up to the guy and said something along the lines of “don’t say that **** again.”

Do we think Brady was being sincere there? I’m not so sure that was part of the joke. I think he might’ve felt Kraft was off limits. Maybe his declining health has something to do with it.

It was literally the first roast of the night. It was contrived and they were trying to get that **** trending on Twitter to drive more views to the roast.

There's zero chance that was legit. He smiled his way through the whole thing.

A lot of stuff got repeated I suppose as a pro he should be able to clean it up better on the spot but his kings bit on Kreicher was possibly the funniest line of the night.
I didn't get that. I was just out of the loop. I thought his rapid fire delivery was amateurish. No space to figure out what just happened.

It was the roast of Tom Brady, not the roast of his friends and family. Him taking offense to that lines up exactly with the man we've seen for 24 years.

Though I'll say it backfired since it created a moment and now that moment is all over all types of media.

It's concerning to me how many people don't understand a work.

So to be clear. When Kevin Hart said **** them kids and your wife has bruises on her ass not from the karate lessons but from the pounding she took from the teacher wasn't triggering but saying he asked Kraft if he wanted a massage was a bridge too far?

Don't buy it. Tom sat there with his hands on his chair waiting for his cue to get up there and whisper that nonsense into Jeff Ross ear.

It was a work and it apparently worked on all the marks.

I didn't catch the beginning of the show so I just watched Bledsoe. This is clearly the funniest line of the night, 2nd funniest was Edelman and Guerrero and Brady.

Bledsoe: "Most people don't know that Gronk is from Buffalo. In fact, Gronk was actually born on a folding table at a Buffalo Bills tailgate. Ironically, that's also where he was conceived."

It was a joke - to play on the whole Will Smith thing. The whispering into a microphone makes it even more obvious.

Right, i felt like it was all part of the joke. Brady knew whatever he said would get picked up by the microphone

You definitely should man! The entire show had me smiling with pride, laughing, and even getting teary eyed at times. Just seeing all the boys up there showing love for one another and having a blast together ,especially those that have had anemosity, was the best thing ive watched in years. Maybe since the last SB.

Only way I am not watching it tonight is if the internet goes out.

I don’t care if his reaction to Ross was a work or not. He probably views Bob as the guy who played a big role in his career and will always be thankful. I think Bob could’ve handled some things better but we all could’ve handled some things better ourselves. I’m pretty happy that Brady punked the Colts, Bills and Chiefs though!

He punked the JETE also. (Looking at the comedians) “Who picked this lineup..the Jets front office?”

It's a roast Kraft was in attendance and even did a joke of his own I think it's fair game.

It felt like I was in the Twilight Zone watching this. You know it’s weird when Bill starts joining in. I wouldn’t recommend Homers to watch this. It throws the “Patriot Way” right out of the window.

Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if they said "hey let's get a Kraft joke out of the way early, you can save face by stepping in, and then it will get people talking"

And there were other jokes about Kraft, not like that was the only one. I believe it was Edelman who said he always thought the next time all his former teammates would be together would be at Kraft's funeral. Then Kraft later said that Edelman is not invited to the funeral.
