Yeah that is also a good point. You have to guess neither of Maye or Milton are ready to be QB2 in week 1… maybe Maye will be. Probably better to have a guy with some experience as the backup but then they’re carrying 4 QBs. Not sure. Maye might have to be QB2. Hopefully he will have proven himself.

Well well well, my old friend Joe Milton. Definitely more upside than any GA QB (@UGAPatsfan ). In any case, he can throw the ball as far as a punter can boot it. Ridiculous (not even joking here) arm but inaccurate as all get out.

Hmmm, I am confused. If they convert him to TE...aren't there better TE in this draft that you could pick up to fell that role?
I don't see the value using this pick on a QB as he is not better than QB2/3 Zappe/Maye.
This is not the stacked 2008 Pats who used a Round 7 conversion pick on JE11. This is flawed Pats team that needs help at virtually every position.

Not gonna be a TE, Milton said he was told by the Pats he’s being drafted to be a QB. He will be QB3 this year. Zappe is gone.

I don’t think people understand, Mallett had a great arm, but Milton’s is a bazooka. I saw one guy say it’s the strongest arm he’s ever seen.
