I will take this approach over overpaying for average guys. (we did this in 21 save for Judon)

I still think there were a couple of values to be had out in the market. Unfortunately we’re not a team that can get the values right now.

Mac Jones had his best season after that 21 spending spree. I don't think that's a coincidence. Sure, overpaying for average talent isn't a sustainable strategy, but it is better than giving a young QB nothing to work with, which we are well on pace to do again right now. I am not saying we spend like drunken sailors and patch up all the holes, but to add literally nothing is disappointing

I like that comparison. Day 1 and 2 of free agency for most teams is Christmas. For Pats fans, it’s the airing of the grievances.

People now want other teams to hand us young, all pro wide receivers for third or fourth round picks. Can we be realistic? Aiyuk is at LEAST a first round pick and possibly more.

For an example: bleacher report has Arizona offering a first round pick and two third round picks for Aiyuk.

I hope RK remembers he is a Fan. His hired guns have done oogatz. He has to understand that everyday that goes by like this puts a dent on him as owner. He does not want to see that. Nor do we. It morphs down to cheap and he has said he did not hold up any dollars for the Team.
Mr. K , your input is needed to get the same guys who handled the FA and Draft for years Groh and Wolf (so why would they change) off their ass. It's called work fellas. You get on the horn and call Teams, Agents and the other Teams personnel and make deals.

Unfortunately they encountered a franchise derailing moment: death by loss to the Patriots in a Super Bowl.

Bob did a very good job of keeping his wallet in his pocket today. I even saw him today at Gillette. He was all gothed out, spiked black hair, dog collar around his neck, and black eyeliner, like he was the new lead singer for The Cure, and he had a big ole chain on that wallet. I think he was trying to tell Wolf something. He was even talking with a British accent. I think he was heading to the mall to try and pick up 16 year old girls at the food court.
