Is this because Kraft didn't spend enough money to get the right people? Is it because Kraft was not tending to his business, lot of money involved? Is it because Kraft and his son and family just walked away from all this money invested into this business and let some old guy run everything? Was Kraft busy with his top political friend get massage's from illegal foreign immigrants from China while not minding his NFL business? Was some guy named Jonathan Kraft looking the other way while his inheritance was wasted? Was some guy named Jonathan Kraft, who was responsible for the families income doing something else? What was he doing? He is at every Patriots game in a box next to his father. Then there is the women that was 50 years old, 33 years younger that her husband Robert 83 yrs old, and 10 years younger than her son in law, was she a distraction to this big failing business because of her son or husband? Just what was going on with this failing NFL football business going downhill each year for 5 years in a row getting worse each year, was no one watching the store? Help me understand how these wealthy people just pissed away this money on a failing business each year, was it a scam against the fans? A tax write-off? A toy? Help me understand. Thank you.The offense sucked from top to botton. The WR's sucked, the QB sucked, the line sucked.
All Mac Jones fans check in here.
Colin Cowherd says it's not a ‘terrible idea’ for Patriots to give Mac Jones another year
One sports broadcaster doesn't think it's the worst idea for the Patriots to give Mac Jones another year.www.masslive.com
You don’t want Brock Bowerkowski?Looking more and more that MHJr will be there at 3.
Couldn't be that there was a GM in charge of all those things that did a bad jobIs this because Kraft didn't spend enough money to get the right people? Sure it is possible, but not likely. I am just surprised that you think it is OK, that people with money, like Bob Kraft, allows someone else, not family, squander their money from themselves and their family.Couldn't be that there was a GM in charge of all those things that did a bad job
Are you listening Ian, a thread for Mac Jones like Tom Brady and not one for Bill Belichick. That's what they want. Ha HaMac Jones will get his own thread like Tom Brady on this forum.
I remember when Zappe’s offense was shut out by one of the worst defenses in the league.Never said Patricia won a superbowl as an OC, Bill O did. Bill B won a bunch. Almost every single time Mac had a chance to win a big game he choked, every big moment. He was 2-8 last year Zappe was 2-5. Zappe's 2-5 were without the 2 best defensive players on the team, along with most of the wr's gone. If you are going to keep one of them, Zappe was much more of a player than Mac was, and he still isn't good.
I feel the exact opposite. Jones was a good QB; watch his Alabama tape. Watch what he did in his first season. He was ruined by the OC, the WRs and the OL, and especially the GM. What is supposed to do when no oneis open and he is running for his life? His crappy play led to 2 of the oc's getting fired. Everyone blames the OC, everyone blames the wr's, everyone blames the TE's, everyone blames the O line. I would think some of you rocket scientists might start to put together the fact Mac was the issue.
Funny, you were one of the you are what your record says boys. Zappe had a much much better record that Jones last year playing with a team decimated by injuries. Somehow that makes Jones a better qb. Anyway, neither is that good at this point in their careers.I remember when Zappe’s offense was shut out by one of the worst defenses in the league.
Zappe sucks ass. Doesn’t belong in the league. Never did, never will. Waste of a 4th round draft pick from the former GM/HC. No he is not better than Jones.
Jones will likely be gone probably to a backup role somewhere else.
Zappe would have sucked even with no injuries. Not an NFL level QB. 31 other teams didn’t want him for free when the Patriots cut him last summer. Nuff said.Funny, you were one of the you are what your record says boys. Zappe had a much much better record that Jones last year playing with a team decimated by injuries. Somehow that makes Jones a better qb. Anyway, neither is that good at this point in their careers.
Can't help you there. Jones won at Alabama with an nfl quality o-line, defense and close to all pro nfl level wr's, playing during covid against college teams that were often decimated by covid protocols. In the nfl he did well for the first 1/2 of his rookie season, but then, teams figured out that his arm was weak and they could stack the box, bring the dbacks up and make him beat them with long throws, and sideline throws. He could still have been a serviceable qb but he has the Bledsoe disease of making bad decisions usually at the worst possible time. The game slowed down for Brady in key moments, it sped up for Drew and so far, it certainly seems to speed up for Mac.I feel the exact opposite. Jones was a good QB; watch his Alabama tape. Watch what he did in his first season. He was ruined by the OC, the WRs and the OL, and especially the GM. What is supposed to do when no oneis open and he is running for his life?
And now you guys want to bring in another QB and ruin him also. The Jets model.
No! First you build the OL and get some WRs/TEs. Then next year or the year after go get the QB. The smart thing to do would be to trade back from 3 this year and get some stupid team's first in 2025 and some draft capital. Get a new QB in 2025 or 2026....
A bad man wearing a hoody sabotaged Macs career.Funny, you were one of the you are what your record says boys. Zappe had a much much better record that Jones last year playing with a team decimated by injuries. Somehow that makes Jones a better qb. Anyway, neither is that good at this point in their careers.
Its time to fix the Bologna and Chips offense. You don’t want Brock Bowerkowski?
Its time to fix the Bologna and Chips offense.
Yeah, got to make the Mayp look good riding Belichicks defense before it 5hits the bed.Defense first. Wilkins next to Barmore, tall press corner opposite Gonzo and a FS to replace McCourty. Then work on the offense for 2 years.
Week 5?Yeah, got to make the Mayp look good riding Belichicks defense before it 5hits the bed.
