I have no dog in the hunt, and in part I suppose because I don't bet, I don't much feel like trying to analyze the game. So I have no defensible theory as to who will win. I do hope the 49ers win, though, because I like the Purdy story and the cut of his jib, and maybe because i get a sense they might be the underdogs. The only thing tempting me to root for the Chiefs is that they beat Baltimore, a team and an ethos I despise. I will listen to the game on the radio (as I often do to regular season games). I don't care about the d----d TV ads, and all the "Ooooooo, look, it's Taylor" c---p would drive me to distraction. It'd be kinda weird for the radio guys to say such a thing, might convey an impression their mind isn't really on the game, lol.

Yeah. "being cute" seems to be the guiding principle for this Super Bowl. I wonder if the Chiefs will take the field in gold-spangled leotards or bootie shorts.

Me too. Purdy has been disrespected leading up to this as a game manager who shouldn’t be sharing the field with the great Mahomes. I get the feeling the niners are motivated to prove everyone wrong.

Everyone is picking the Chiefs and the only storyline they've had in the media is about Mahomes/Kelce and Swift nothing about the #1 seed in the NFC
