So THIS was the plan all along??!? BB is gone, now Brady can team up with his former teammate Mayo. Now, we’ll take MHJ at 3, package picks to move back up into the 7-12 range of the 1st round and take TE Bowers, take on OT in the 2nd, acquire CB Sneed & S Winfield or S Xavier McKinney via FA, draft a couple of pass rushers that shine at the Senior Bowl and win the next 2 Superbowls.

In other words you don’t have any reliable source for saying they suck, you just have a woody for a WR or OT, so you are just making **** up.?
I’ve watched enough footage. They’re all 2nd rounders. Nix might be the exception.

No offense but I’ll go with Jeremiah’s evaluation over yours. He was a scout for the Ravens , and his take on the draft, as well as Bucky Brooks have been the most reliable source for me in recent years.

And what I have seen in the discussions is that the people who have a boner for Marvison Harrison Jr. are just dismissing reports that the top 3 are really good prospects, and making the, “ they aren’t guaranteed” argument.

Then I guess they won’t be getting a QB for a long long time, because next years QB class sucks. Which means 26’, at the earliest. But that’s ok, sucking for at least another 4-5 years before they have any success isn’t too bad.

Here’s a pop quiz for the people who want the Patriots to take a WR with their first pick. Name a true contender with a bad QB?

Going by conference championship games the last 6-7 seasons I’ve found these average-below average QBs who made it to the final four.

1. Nick Foles
2. Blake Bortles
3. Case Keenum
4. Ryan Tannehill
5. Brock Purdy
6. Jimmy G

Only one of those guys won a Super Bowl, for now. We’ll see about Purdy who may be better than we think. I guess we are hoping to contend for an AFCCG appearance some day with a bridge-tier QB.

In other words just take the damn shot at Maye or Daniels. Kirk Cousins will be washed by the time we build a fully functional offense around him. And I just don’t like Justin Fields. If we are considering Fields we might as well just draft Jayden Daniels.

I would take a chance on Milton as a developmental QB (but only in the highly unlikely event he's there in the 4th round, as we have other needs, especially if we take a QB at the #3 overall).

I am personally down with taking MHJ, moving up a bit for a tackle as needed, and then taking a guy like Rattler, Pratt or Hartman later. They don’t blow you away but there’s still stuff to like there. I’d be happy to sit guys like these behind Jacoby Brissett for a year and see how it goes. A good TE can be had in free agency too, as well as a plethora of good RBs assuming the high supply leads to good value.

If they only go .500 or so then you are in the mid 1st again next year and you can target a QB then; at least your offense would hopefully be in better shape otherwise.

If there is justice in the universe, a QB named Rattler, HAS to be a success.
