Wonder if this potentially opens a spot for Bill?

This season seemed like a magical year for the Lions.

As so often we see, next years high expectations can transform into a nightmare quickly.

He’ll be taking over as HC of the Lions if “Biff Tannen” Campbell doesn’t cool the jets on going for it when doing so is stupid.

That's big for Detroit and big for the teams that were looking at him. It might be big for Bill.

Maybe opens door for BB to Seattle or Washington?

Yeah, good for him. Wait for the right job.

Robinson is now out as well.

Would bet the house on a retread at this point (Caley or McDaniels). Firing the Grand Puba, but retaining all his underlings is an interesting (to put it nicely) approach.
Especially after ALL of them sucked royal ass when they went on their own after leaving the great wizard himself !! It’s gonna be a **** show at One Patriot Place !!

Where the **** is our OC hire
The good candidates probably see how our offense has been nuked by the previous coach/GM and are hesitant to come here with such a tall task ahead.

There are several decent candidates still out there who have been interviewed. Better than panic hiring Josh McDaniels.

What does this news have to do with the Patriots?

My reply is sarcasm.

It's labeled off topic. But it does potentially impact the Patriots because they've already interviewed Tanner Engstrand, who would have been in line for a potential promotion with the Lions if Johnson had left. Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're trying to say.

What does this news have to do with that? Honest question. What do you think this changes?
Well, actually, it might have a potential effect - if Ben Johnson left Detroit, Tanner Engstrand may have been promoted to the Detroit OC job. With Johnson staying put, Engstrand is more likely to be open for hire.

Edit: NVM you beat me to this a couple minutes ago already...
