Well, we certainly haven't seen one here in New England over the past 4 years.Have you people never seen a rebuild?

I mean, this is what happened in Bill's last playoff game:The point though is that come playoff time, there's no other HC out there that can prepare a team like Belichick.
So you not only have to scrap the entire FO and coaching staff but also the players? For a 72 yo coach? Lol, no wonder he's not getting any interviews aside from Blank.I really don't see the point in hiring BB without allowing him the players he needs to compete.
We know the defense is different from most other teams, 2 gap DTs, big DEs that set the edge, multiple DBs that play several different positions and hide their D as they switch from zone to man, big strong safeties (Mapu, Dugger and Peppers). Bend but don't break, flood the middle of the field.
There's no point in hiring him at all if you don't give him the pieces to do what he does best.
BB has no other job offers as of now thoughFalcons have won 7 games 5 of the past 6 seasons. The other year they won 4 games.. They fired Quinn and Smith, fired Dimitroff, overhauled their roster, all yielding the same result. That’s the Rich McKay record as their team President. BB would be stupid to settle for a job under that no talent assclown.
This is what Belichick should do. He'd be good at it.
I'll be surprised if Bill is out of a job. Maybe he and Pete can get a class-action lawsuit going against the NYFL for age discrimination.Unless some surprise opening pops up it looks like it is Atlanta or nothing for Bill. Crazy to think he might not be on the sidelines anywhere next year.
Weird as it sounds, probably some media job.BB has no other job offers as of now though
I wonder where he'll end up
You say he has to be, but if that was the case, he probably could have just made it very clear that he would have accepted that here.
Bill leaving tells me "Kraft wanted Bill out of having full control, Bill didn't want to be somewhere where he didn't have full control and they set up a nice little amicable exit".
Even wierder is that he would be great at it if he wanted to be. No one knows more about football.Weird as it sounds, probably some media job.
Yeah? Maybe do something like team him up with Kiper in the draft where Bill could use his encyclopedic knowledge but doesn't have to be the dynamic one. He'd actually still be talking about the players on day 3.Even wierder is that he would be great at it if he wanted to be. No one knows more about football.

I agree.I think having him as an analyst for games could be great if he embraced it.
I am sure his age have a lot to do with that need a guy for more than Two years. Father time catches up to us us sooner or later.Unless some surprise opening pops up it looks like it is Atlanta or nothing for Bill. Crazy to think he might not be on the sidelines anywhere next year.
I mean, this is what happened in Bill's last playoff game:
1. Worse playoff loss of his career: 47-17.
2. Largest halftime deficit (27-3) in Patriots playoff history.
3. Buffalo scored TDs on its first 7 possessions. The 8th series was a victory formation.
4. It was the first game in NFL history in which one team never attempted a FG, punted or turned the ball over (via INT, FUM or TO on downs).
Total humiliation.
Yeah, although I wouldn't be surprised if he's a guy that the media will speculate on getting back into coaching, like they did with Cowher and Chucky for a long time.I am sure his age have a lot to do with that need a guy for more than Two years. Father time catches up to us us sooner or later.
Can't see him with Kiper unless they let him smirk and roll his eyes.Yeah? Maybe do something like team him up with Kiper in the draft where Bill could use his encyclopedic knowledge but doesn't have to be the dynamic one. He'd actually still be talking about the players on day 3.
