That would be nice. I feel that Penix is going in the top 20, especially if he has a good game tomorrow.

Why wouldn't NE take Maye if he was available at 3 in any of these scenarios?

Yep. I really don't want us to overreach for a QB. If Maye falls, grab him. Otherwise, go for MHJ and get a QB later. A halfway decent QB should be able to lob it up to Marvin.

I kind of feel like other teams are going to overthink things - someone will take MHJ, and then another team will take Maye over Williams - and NE will just do the logical thing and take Williams - and he will end up being pretty freakin' good.

And the other 31 teams will be pissed that they let it happen!

Ehh it all depends if they really want MHJ or not. If they want him to give Fields that one two punch with Moore then they have to take him at 1. He won't be there if they trade down more than the top 3 or so.

Good draft for WR’s. They could trade back a bit and still get Nabers. Nabers + a bunch of high picks would be pretty enticing for the Bears to trade.

I've been watching him a while and I think he doesn't command the pocket well, he has a long delivery, and he needs the pocket to be clean. I hope someone trades into #2 to take him because that will mean we have Caleb Williams

I don't think they are the blue chippers that Williams is. I think both of them are about the same level as Penix.

I'd rather have Justin Fields than all 4 of those guys.

Williams is the only sure thing in this draft.
