I am still confused who are we supposed to root for and for which situations (the Pats winning or losing). I know we want the Falcons to win and I assume that is for the #2 pick.

For the #2 pick - need Pats loss, Falcons win, and either a Broncos win OR a Raiders win+Bears win
If those scenarios don't occur but the Pats lose then the Pats are locked into the #3 pick.
If the Pats win then it becomes more complicated - would need Commanders and Cardinals to both win in order to become eligible for the #2 pick again, so in all likelihood they'd probably get the #4 at best, and likely #5 at worst, and that would come down to a SOS comparison against the Giants. Will want to worry about that after this game concludes.

Pretty sure Kraft will just do to BB what BB has done to every player he has had to cut/let go that was here for a while. Bill has been on the other side of this conversation multiple times, he has to know what to expect. Kraft will let him quit and find work elsewhere as opposed to firing him, and it is the best thing for both people anyway. If Bill has hard feelings over it then that be rather hypercritical.

We have heard that there are multiple teams who have expressed interest in him plus more teams "in the shadows" as well. Kraft WILL get a premium pick for Bill.
I'm sure they already had this talk or a pre-talk. Bill already knows what is going to happen and Kraft has no doubt given him the heads up so he can get an early jump and he can try to make it as easy as possible for him to find a place he likes.
