I'm happy that happened but why on earth does the league have that touch back rule?

I think it makes sense when you think about it. If possession is lost with the ball going out of bounds through the end zone, there's no place it can be spotted.

Rules check: Delay of game was called with 2:01 left on the clock. Next thing we know, it's the two minute warning. What happened to that one second? I thought clock doesn't start after a penalty until the snap. Shouldn't there have been another play?

Right, the one Superbowl after Jimmy was fired was essentially the players he developed. Pretty much nothing ever since

If it went out of bounds at the 1, of course that's where it would be spotted. The difference is no yard markers in the end zone affirming offensive possession. So, if the defense did its job forcing the offense to lose possession in the process of trying to score, it should get the ball. I think it's a decent rule, requiring the offense to be disciplined when it counts the most. Too many rules favor offense as is, IMO.

Mildly rooting for the Lions for Pats' SOS, although the Cowboys are common opponents for the top 6 in the Tankathon, so it could very well be just a wash.

Since NYG played DAL twice, and since the only teams who haven't played DAL are Titans and Bears, I think I changed my mind. Either way, I'm curious to see how it plays out.
