I'll say.. we all know we need a QB. Here's what I think may happen. Bill will jump around the board like he always does. We'll, end up with a LT.
He knew he needed a QB in 2021 and picked one. He knows he needs one in 2024 and I think he'll pick one again. It's stunningly clear to everyone that you can't win without a QB and we have none on the roster now, which Bill knows. The question is if he thinks there's a vet out there who can be the QB. I don't think there is, but I don't get to decide these things.

Cousins is the veteran that I believe makes the most sense. They aren't going to deviate from what they want to do offensively. Even though they need a more modern offense with an aggressive play calling. To be here, or not to be here for BB is the question. Looking at at ownership like David tepper, makes me appreciate more the ownership we have with the krafts. This season made it emphatically clear of when a organization like ours doesn't have the QB your a lottery team.

If Bill is here, he likes to take a redundancy approach. Don't rely solely on a draft pick. Get a draft pick and a vet to compete. Granted, too often both the vet and the draftee suck, but that tends to be his M.O. So I think if he's here, he drafts a QB and signs a vet. I'd be fine with Cousins, but I'm not too thrilled about most of the other vet options.

Sensibile. That is why it's hard to envision him not being here! Becuase the roster is his creation. Would you think ownership would want/allow him to fix this mess? This situation with QB play is far worse that Cam. At least cam could move and get out the pocket when plays broke down. I think that RK is a very intelligent, savvy owner. I just think unless the next guy comes in like CJ stroud has then we definitely need that veteran. For the life of me don't understand why will Grier is here if he's not going to play .

I can see them firing Bill and I can see them keeping Bill. Neither would come as a surprise.

I'm with you, though. I think it's unlikely we'll want to rely on a rookie from day 1. It didn't work with Mac, but we didn't have a better option, as Cam was a mess. But if we're looking at Mitch Trubisky or something like that, I can't imagine the vet will have a very long leash.

Same here! I'm with you on that. We as fans see how bad it is each week and we just automatically assume bills gone. I'm telling you. I believe Bill and RKK have already conceded the season. They know they have plenty of cap next season, and the hope is we can get more guys that are impactful offensively we are ok on defense. A few pieces at CB, LB and DL. But we are in much better shape there. We need the next draft pick to be put in the BEST situations to succeed. What happened with Mac is just outright stupid. Bill couldn't be a chemist on offense all he wanted becuase Brady is the buffer.

Looking at the panthers schedule remaining, i find it hard to believe that they will finish with a tougher sos than us.

Arizona has sf and philly left so us having the tiebreaker with az seems likely

The Jets are a sneaky threat here. They are terrible, and if the pats beat them again they'll have the tiebreaker

And they need a quarterback

I think the jets will finish with a tougher sos. The only differences in our schedule is we got saints, colts, steelers. They got falcons, Texans, browns.

As long as the browns finish within a game of Pittsburgh i think we are ok because im pretty sure texans and falcons finish better than colts and saints.

But if the Pats beat the Jets twice then the Jets would be ahead of them in draft order, right?

Enjoying every loss so Bobby gets off his ass and makes real changes this off season.

I would like to believe he won't. But RKK will cave in.
Which makes this the most interesting and anticipated offseason in Patriots history.

We are pencilled in for a top 3 pick. MHJ or one of the QBs is ours. Let the debate begin.

Both the QBs kinda scare me. MHJ would be my choice I think, but they have to take a qb I’m thinking.

Joe Alt I think would be the pick that’s most likely not to be a bust.

His Pressers are getting briefer and briefer ended abruptly Today I heard. He should probably skip it Thursday night. The only way I'm watching is IF Malik plays. The NFL will lose money having the Patriots in prime Time they should be playing the rest of their games @3:00am on ESPN after hours.

If Belichick is picking he’s either trading out or taking Alt. But I’m really hoping this isn’t his decision to make
