Hunter Henry, Ezekiel Elliot, Kendrick Bourne, Juju Smith-Shuster, Jonnu Smith, Nelson Aghalor, Riley Reiff. And that's just off the top of my head. Sure, most of them were either disappointments or outright busts. But it's wrong to say:
They tried. Pretty hard, it looks like. Which is all anyone can ask.
Where’s the lie?Jesus.
Worst offensive rosters (if you want to throw in ST too, go ahead). The defense it pretty good. Not amazing but it doesn't need a complete top-to-bottom overhaul like the offense does.Have to say from top to bottom this is one of the worst rosters. It's going to take a few drafts to get back to being competitive. even if we hit on the QB
Bill not having drafted a pro bowl player in 10 years is crazy.

The Patriots were in the Super Bowl in 1997 against the Packers and could have won that game. The Tuna jumped ship. They were competitive under Pete Carroll but underperformed. Belichick arrived in 2000 and went 5-11 before the dynasty began. The Patriots were essentially a competitor for the whole thing until the 2020 season when the wheels started falling off.Pete Carrol had us respectable.

And Lawrence may never see a SB unless he pays to get in.They said the same thing about the 2021 draft, it was being compared to the 1983 draft. Right now it looks like there’s one decent QB out of that draft.
Define sucked? Are we just talking 1999 when they went 2-6 after they went 6-2?Odd response.
There is nothing to defend....?
The franchise sucked before Belichick. It's fact. Do you disagree?
The lie is the lack of context.Where’s the lie?
Huh? Go ahead and define it anyway you want.Define sucked? Are we just talking 1999 when they went 2-6 after they went 6-2?
And he's not see what the NFL world is seeing either. BB is very close to the end of his NFL sad but true. The HC isn't out there throwing the ball
Injury perhaps? I think Trent Brown is nursing an ankle injury. And Conor McDermott starting over Trent Brown? Why did Bill do that again? Either Brown can play and should start or you're doing some pointless mind games that got your QB run over....again.
Ehhh… they were competitive from 97-99. Unless you mean before BB was hired into the organization by Tuna and Kraft in 96Odd response.

The point is that they all missed more kicks their rookie years. I considered the first month for Ryland an aberration because of the 3 bad snaps and the long kicks. If I look back on his year, I consider him shanking 2Gostowski missed 5 kicks his rookie year. Ryland has already missed six with a third of the season to go. Vinatieri missed seven, but has a higher completion percentage than Ryland does now (77.1% vs. Ryland's 66.7%).
Supposedly taking the Bears job.Jim Harbaugh?
He may be elsewhere next year, but I he'll be at it longer I would bet.And he's not see what the NFL world is seeing either. BB is very close to the end of his NFL sad but true.
