I agree with you about Harrison.
However drafting a WR at 3 is very very high for a position where injuries are so common.
I think if they have a top 5 pick you either go QB or LT.
Pats need a 10 year plug and play choice that will anchor their offense for a decade.

10 years with a top 5 pick like Bryce, Richardson, Milfson, Lance, Kyler, Mayfield, Darnold, Trub, Goff, Wentz, Winston, Mariota, BORTLES!, and Griffin?

FYI, I don't disagree with you. It's just crazy how much all of that is a crapshoot. As we've seen very recently, the wrong QB can set a franchise back at least 3-4 years. SF got somewhat lucky the last picked guy has been good... so far...

We've also been debating Zappe with starter reps for a year. Would have been fun to see that argument put to bed either way.

I can see the logic. Instead of spending $15M+ per year on a right tackle, draft one instead and spend $20M+ per year on a WR.

It's really been interesting. For 20 years, we saw HoF level QB play. Now we've seen 3 years of toilet bowl level QB play.
