My expectations for Grier are as low as it gets but it seems like something is holding them back from trying to see what he’s got. Not sure what it is…

It's hard telling what their interest in Grier is all about. But you'd have to think if he was ready, he'd have leap-frogged Zappe on the depth chart. What a mess -- Mac is wrecked, Zappe can't work BOB's system. Cunningham supposedly isn't physically ready to be a running QB in the NFL. At least they have two weeks to figure something out.

The pressures of being in NE, the daily rigors of being a patriots player as Hightower said isn't for everyone. The pressures have consumed Mac.. it's ok we had 3 seasons of him we know what he is.. we will get another QB.. I'm curious to see what will Grier can do. If he turns out to be anything may he can be the bridge for the next guy?

That would be nice.. I don't need to see Zapp.. I want to see grier.. and possibly a bit of Cunningham.. all about entertainment value from here on out.

For those that recall the screaming when Mac was injured with what turned out to be a high ankle sprain - he simply hasn’t been the same QB since. I don’t doubt this offensive line helps but he seldom throws in a forward motion and until he does he’s not going to be a starting QB for long. Zappe isn’t the answer - he’s been cut from the roster twice with not even a nibble from another team. If he was a quality QB that wouldn’t be the case. Keep playing Mac and our odds on getting a top 2 pick will continue getting better snd better - in other words st this point “Mission Accomplished”.

put Mac in Miami the last 3 years and he's >/= Tua, plain and simple

Those two were as close to identical coming out as any two QBs all time

Miami developed an offense based on his strengths, they rolled with the bumps, they hit him weapons

The Patriots did none of that....Mac became a problem because they made him a problem
