i agreeI think the coaches are having a hard enough time connecting with the players that don't have character issues let alone the ones that do.

We are paying him $1.5 million for this season and can cut him with no cap hit this March.
I often wonder what makes these athletes go to work after they already made millions … especially at a young age.How does a person change so much so quickly? Was his ego inflated like crazy by that contract?
Short answer: Ask TB12.I often wonder what makes these athletes go to work after they already made millions … especially at a young age.
Wonder if these kids more interested in being gangsters?I would move on from Jack Jones and JC. I thought Jack would learn his lesson after the gun incident but he is still making bad decisions. JC isn't the same player and is also not making good decisions. I wouldn't take the risk with these two players, especially if we were in contention for a playoff spot. Time to add the need for cornerbacks to the rebuild.
Great example… he was theoretically always kept in check with his pay. Maybe that part kept him somewhat humble ? Goat not getting goat money ..Ask TB12.
Just his $1.5 million.what's the hit to drop him now?
Just his $1.5 million.
For me I didn't want to pay him what I thought he was going to get on the open market. Then when he signed a much cheaper deal than most anticipated I wondered why we didn't match it. Now we have our answer.Everyone who killed Bill for not giving Jackson a huge payday should apologize. Belichick has made a lot of bad personnel decisions in recent years, but not giving Jackson a big contract was not one of them.
I heard on the radio the other day that after the Chargers traded Jackson, the management of the team went into the Chargers' locker room and apologized to the team for ever signing Jackson. That is how bad it was with him in LA.
You know … I’m pretty sure Billy has a bigger thumb on the pulse of the guys in Roberts building. I agree … we don’t give him enough credit. I’m sure he’s looking for yes men.. and it’s obvious today the new generation isn’t flush with them. It’s definitely the Pepsi generation .. and I’m gonna venture a guess thats why we don’t have those great wide outs on this team. They come out of college as pre packaged Prima donnas working on their “brand”… The veterans we seem to continuously parade out down at 1 Patriot place might be more grizzled and realize it in fact is actually a business.Everyone who killed Bill for not giving Jackson a huge payday should apologize. Belichick has made a lot of bad personnel decisions in recent years, but not giving Jackson a big contract was not one of them.

I’ve always thought that the hardest task in drafting. Way above skill set. Every year it’s the same old same old … we should have taken player X because blah blah blah.. almost impossible to draft what a young man has in his heart. 22 year old children with the weight of the franchise on them… I see it in a Macs eyes. He really is just a kid.. Burrows not so muchShort answer: Ask TB12.
long answer: values. What do they value, fool’s gold and bling, or true gold? Do they want to really be the best, or just the highest paid?
if you can tell which it is for a particular player you’ll have the key to building an NFL dynasty.
Hope JC isn't dumb enough to steal a Mac Jersey he could get one for free.Yeah but while the Pats are in Germany, JCJ will have the chance to rob the Foxboro package store.
Who cares? He's done. He is a wealthy adult that should be able to take care of himself. Let him hire his own babysitter if he needs one.How is leaving him behind, to his own devices in an unstructured environment, supposed to make things "better"?
No it was correct the first time. Doctors greenlighting him to play after only 4 weeks of ankle surgery was bizarre given that Mac sat out for 3 weeks with an ankle sprain. The guy was hobbling around the field, then he preceded to tear his patellar tendon. Gee, I wonder how? Chargers never saw a healthy Jackson play in a game, yet they throw him under the bus. The Chargers were desperate to get their money's worth rushing him back and it backfired badly.FIFY
