Game Day Thread OFFICIAL GAME THREAD: 2023 Week 8 - Patriots at Dolphins

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

This year’s team is more boring than watching golf.
I’ve only seen one other poster say this (@FCB02062), but it’s true. There isn’t one player on either offense or defense I looked forward to watching.

At least we’ve been lucky to not have this problem since the Tuna/Bledsoe years.

Why stare down the flat read? He should have quickly turned elsewhere. Weird play.

Mac is gunshy.....at this point I don't blame him....I am too when he throws.

Unless there is a perfect pocket Mac gets happy feet
I think he has severe PTSD

Pre Touchdown Stress Disorder

What is Mac doing? Looks like we are back to “Bad Mac”

2 players open. Wtf was Jones looking at?
Secules would've made that play.

Good analysis by Arch. I was thinking Brady hits Parker pronto every time. Bang, bang.

They're down by a single score. Why does it seems so hopeless? After 20 years of "well, of course we'll win," this is a hard adjustment to make.

Parker open right in front of him.
He was, but he was well short of the sticks. Jones was clearly looking in the end zone on that play (I'm assuming that was the plan) and wisely didn't try to fit it in there.

Pats WR wide open for the TD.

Sack and FG.

Rooting for an injury

Why is there no one watching a 5-2 team in late October ?
