Evans is interesting because he understood and performed well with TB12. He will be 31 next year so I am not sure BB will pay top dollar but maybe that is OK.
I think BB may bend on the age to bring in a guy who he knows will mesh well. He understood what Brady wanted offensively and was his WR1 on a super bowl roster. He should fit into BOB's scheme.

Higgins put up stellar numbers as a rookie. All he had was Tyler Boyd and a broken down AJ Green. If you think that Higgins can't be a #1, you didn't pay attention to 2020.
I counter with as soon as Burrow was injured in 2020, he was jaggy the rest of the way (avg of 4rec 44yds per game).

Patriots Waived Malik Cunningham
Patriots released Trey Flowers.

Guess we need to find a LB/DE to add to the rotation. As much as I liked the pressure we put on Allen, I'm doubt the big guys an do that game in and game out.

EDIT: Wonder if they reach out to someone like Jordan Willis or Justin Hollins.

Also wonder what the Pas will do with the roster spot they created..

Well, there goes the "Cunningham QB2" dreams lol. At least for now. I am curious what they do with the spot as well. If I had to put money on it, it'll be to sign Reagor to the 53.

Great post. Who would you rather have? Reagor or Cunningham?

Yeah, we view Cunningham as a QB but the team currently views him as a depth WR. I would think they probably are swapping him out for Reagor who has shown more, even if they lose the "gadget" option Cunningham provides. Reagor is out of PS elevations, having used his 3rd and final on Sunday.

The upside is that if Cunningham clears waivers and returns to the practice squad, their PS elevation counter resets - they can elevate him an additional 3 more times if they want to use him in any given game for package plays or depth.

It's getting late in the year for a WR to be imported via trade. WR takes a while to incorporate into modern playbooks, at least Patriots.
I don't expect BB to make a move for WR before 31st. Especially since so much $$ is sunk into JSS and Parker.
I think we're going to roll with who we have - and slowly see less playing time for those old overpaid slow WR's

With Flowers release they probably feel pretty good about White/Uche being back. I'd imagine they would bring him back if they need him and he doesn't catch on somewhere else though.

I was more concerned with the CB depth but they look pretty solid with JCJ, Jack and Jon Jones as the top 3.

I agree with all of that. But you didn't answer the question. Haha. Lol. You are avoiding the question now like others from these parts

Do you prefer Cunningham or Reagor on the 53?

Titans may be making everyone available at the deadline.

Hopkins is signed through next year. Although older he’s still cheaper and better than Juedy.

Carry 6 WR isn't unheard of. The Bigger question is will they move Parker or Juju to try and get some LB/Edge help or will they let one of them go outright.

White is out with a Concussion. Uche is rumored trader bait and we have no idea how long his injury will keep him out.
Having another Edge guy instead of having to go with Jumbo sets (which they'd need to do with White out there) would be preferable to give Jennings a breather now and then.

Whenever I hear people talking about Tee Higgins, I hear the same things I heard about DeVante Parker. Honestly, the guy doesn't impress me at all.

I'd be pleased if the Pats were able to retain all 3 of their TE's going forward. Really like Pharoah Brown's attitude when he gets the ball and Gesicki is solid as they come.

If they do that, they may need much more at WR than Bourne, Pop, Raegor, and Boutte.

HUH? Higgins is nothing like Parker. Prior to this year, Higgins was extremely consistent. Never missed a game due to injury.
70 some receptions, 1000+ yards, 6-7 TDs. 64-65% catch rate.

Reagor, without question. Cunningham's simply not a 53-man-caliber player right now.
