Game Day Thread OFFICIAL 2023 Week 7 Game Thread - Patriots vs Bills

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Reagor played 14 snaps but never saw a target last week. Curious to see if maybe that changes today.
Agree. They must improve intermediate and long passing game. Parker isn’t it. Thornton has had some chances but he and Reagor offer best speed downfield. Gotta get some looks today.

I dub this the "Bill Belichick Contract Leak Game"

I have never felt quite this way about a game before. If I try to look at it objectively, it looks like a sure loss. I have this nagging thought, though, that they just might win, some some of hangover from the Glory Years when we pretty much did win everything, or at least when it was reasonable to think we might. Finally, I have this very unadmirable thought that I hope we lose becuase I really think we need to move on from Bill, and anything that suggests otherwise - like a win against a contending team - makes that less likely. I suppose that's a sleazeball thought, but I struggle to shake it.

Expect a sparse crowd today, the parking lots were not exactly packed and buzzing as usual with tailgaters.

I guess that's the bright side of the team not being good
Tickets probably readily available

You aren’t alone. This seems like it could be the trap game for the Bills

best case scenario today is a close loss. keeps draft position and also at least keeps us engaged. a blowout and we'll all be raking leaves at halftime. I really think we're headed back to the early 90s when fans would call up the Sports Huddle complaining that the Patriots were on tv and not another more competitive game with good teams. at any rate, GO PATS!
