This right here. Bill could've easily paid Meyers and Hopkins. Those were reasonable deals.

He just whiffed or didn't want guys unless they came on his terms.

You obviously can't pay everyone. So a team like the chiefs with mahomes has to make tough decisions. Bill has a QB on a rookie deal and the most capspace in the league again in 2024.

And not a single player even worth extending.

Did we not pay the same for Smith-Schuster? They used the same amount of money as for Meyers.

3x in the last couple of years they paid top dollar in FA for a TE (Smith, Henry, Gesicki).

The problem is FA is no longer the place to build your team with top players.

Speaking of which, it's pretty harsh to say there is no one on the team worth extending.

I hope we extend Onwenu, Henry, Uche, Dugger, Barmore, Jon Jones, Peppers, Stevenson. I'd like to see them keep all these players around.

I'd be in favor of bringing Trent Brown too but I'm always worried he'll implode.

It took me some time to realize.. but Mac's mentally not enaged, he doesn't trust the people around him starting with the coach, the HC. It's just probably best to trade Mac.. this thing has to be rebuilt correctly with a new GM and HC as we all know.

Or they could just start one of the two other QB's on their roster.

I thought we were dead last in offense. Even with the panthers at 0-5 I have more belief they'll win a game before we win another. Another forgotten note on the BB Roster decisions.. big kick nick was traded and he's been money in Tennessee.

The sad part is the Raiders are so pathetic, Mac starting would probably be enough to beat them. Then we'd hear a bunch of redemption nonsense for the next week... before watching him turn it over three times and getting annihilated by the Bills.

If Mac starts, I'll be outside Gillette with pitchforks and torches, I'll let you all know when to show up... bring some tar and feathers for Bill.

Trying to upgrade Folk was fine. He was not good in the finale last season. The only issue was did they really need to pick a kicker in the 4th round? Unless a prospect is Sebastian Janikowski 2.0 why go that high for a kicker.

I'm not watching if it's Zappe. Same as how I felt about the Hoyer/Stidham game in KC, it's not entertaining and there's nothing to take from that game. We already know everything about Zappe, he is not an NFL starting QB and never will be. I don't want Bill to just play out the string I want BB to take something from what is looking like a lost season. Grier at least gives us a chance to see someone new and maybe something to take forward so I'd watch if it's him.

He needed better kickoffs. Who's to say he didn't want him. It was his second choice. And it's not like BB isn't known for drafting specialists high.
